Because it's so difficult to find elsewhere, I ordered it here, and it's fantastic. I used it to make a Swedish cookie recipe, and it was fantastic! I'm always baking/cooking and experimenting with new and international recipes, so I'm planning on ordering more in the future and seeing what else they have to offer. br>I strongly suggest it.
This flour does not seem to be as "smooth" or as easy to work with as almond flour does. It's also a lot more expensive, which is a big deal for me because I use a lot of LC products. br>br>If money isn't an issue, and a slightly denser, coarser texture isn't a deal breaker, this is an excellent product.
Tasty. I'm not sure if it could be ground finer or sifted better, but I'm not sure if that's part of the process. Larger pieces of the puzzle were not welcome.
Since last year, I've been on a ketogenic diet. I do, however, miss carbs. Muffins, pie crusts, banana bread, pancakes, and other baked goods can be made with almond flour or hazelnut flour.
For my cake, I used great flour that was fresh and even better when toasted.
I used it to make a sweet potato pie crust, and it was delicious! I'm glad I have enough to experiment with other recipes now that I've made this perfect crumb crust.
It's the first time I've seen hazelnut ground so finely, and it's fantastic!.
This is filbert/hazelnut flour that is very fine. In cookies, it's great. For a bit more texture, I sometimes combine coarse and fine ground hazelnut flour.
