However, I was disappointed in my package of dried apricots because they were not so dry, they had a bit of leather to them but were fairly plump and still had some moisture to them. When apricots are left on the shelf as a means of storage, they become fermented and dried. It would have been nice, if I was going to bake apricot friendship cake or another fruit cake type application, to have the fermentation. We eat this snack instead of candy as a snack for our kiddos. The mild natural alcohol I am looking for cannot give me the desired flavor or recreational result. You can do yourself a favor and divide the large bag into sandwich-sized bags, and place all but one in the freezer. Having a budget and a palate that appreciate it will make your day. In this package, the producers should really include a robust decant. I think that would be a huge help!.

Several times I have ordered apricots from Food to Live, and each time has been pleasant. Generally, they had a soft, moist consistency, which I enjoyed! Every now and then, there were a few apricots that were tough or tasted bitter, but they were infrequent enough that I didn't find it a problem. Rehydrating the seeds for shakes, oatmeal, granola - there are many things I can do with them The longer they last, the better chance they have of accomplishing those goals. I have no problems keeping my family occupied all day long with these little morsels! Considering my family of five will use an eight-pound bag in a day, that is not a lot There are two weeks left. It is really sad that I no longer have the large 14 pound bags which lasted approximately This would make it easier for me to order 8 LB bags less often, if they bring that back. As a result of the reduction in size, I only gave this product a 4 out of 5.

Dried apricots can cause damage to your teeth because they contain grit. In the event of only one or two exceptions, I would understand and accept them as anomalies, but these apricots have just too much grit inside them as though the producers have harvested the ripen ones and dried them after harvest. It is not something that I would purchase.

Almost all of the apricots in the bag I bought were of poor quality. They are tough, not dark enough, and lacking the delicate sweetness and rich flavor that these types of apricots are known for.

I keep this product in the refrigerator because it comes in a resealable container. As an after-work snack and a way to raise my blood sugar, it has become a go-to food for me. A tasty and rarely dried out food product. Apricots that are less sulfured have a better flavor.

I guess I shouldn't expect much as the quality is less than average, but the price is much cheaper. It was a very crowded place The apricots were dried and leathery and were difficult to chew and not at all tasty. We don't need to save that much money.

There was nothing lacking when it came to the taste, the quality, or the consistency. A single apricot was the only fruit with an issue in the whole 8 pound bag, and it was Having enjoyed the taste and texture of this salsa, I separated it into four groups and vacuum-packed three of the portions that would be stored until I had finished the first one.
