The small packages, such as the ones shown here, do not have a sell-by date. I also bought a box of the larger square crackers, which has a sell-by date of July 2020 written on it.
On the small 0, there is none. 5 oz. pkts
This is a picture of the mini crackers.
Westminster Crackers, as far as I can tell, owns the Olde Cape Cod brand.br>br>The small packets are white/brown and say Westminster, while the big box says Olde Cape Cod and is blue. br>br>I'm sure there's a marketing strategy behind the complexity, but I'm not sure what it is.

I got a few that appear to be at least six years old. 12 months after the date on which they were "best buys" - Except that these "not for individual sale" cracker packets were thrown into a big, generic box with no labels. The box was labeled "perishable" (though these had already perished), but not "fragile" or anything like that, and it even had a HOLE in the side from rough handling (or a packing house that didn't give a d**n). ) I randomly selected a few of the (MOSTLY BROKEN) crackers and found that they are ALL EXTREMELY STALE. They taste exactly like the package of Wesminster Hearty Crackers I had on hand that I had forgotten about for over a year before eating. However, because this is FOOD, it is not permissible to eat it. Can be returned! What a load of nonsense! Heck, I'm not sure these aren't also fakes at this point! br>br>The package I received was a complete waste of time and money. Even if the seller offers a complete refund, prospective buyers should be aware!.
These miniatures are perfect for These are NOT Old Trenton Oyster Crackers, but they can easily be thrown on top of soup. Those crackers were known as OYSTER crackers due to their size. It's about an inch in diameter and nearly as thick. They were named after the fact that they reminded people of oysters. When you bit into one, it crumbled into flaky goodness. Layers of hardness, similar to a hard pretzel. When I lived in Philadelphia, they were all over the place. At all the seafood restaurants along the Jersey Shore, as well. br>Now that I've moved away, all you get are these tiny mini- Dissolve-in-your-mouth crackers. br>It's such a bummer! br>I've looked all over for "oyster" crackers, but all I can find are these Westminster crackers, even under the Cape Cod brand. br>br>While searching, I came across a recipe for baking these at home, so I'll give that a try. br>br>Another old Philadelphia delicacy that has vanished.
This particular batch of crackers had a stale taste to them that rendered them inedible. These individual packs don't have a "sell by" date, which is a shame because this has always been my favorite small saltine cracker. These appear to have been shipped by Amazon, so there must be a problem with their warehousing procedures.
These crackers have always been a favorite of mine. That's why I went to Amazon and ordered them, but what a letdown! They're past their prime and tasteless. They have an aging flavor to them. The fact that they can't be returned is intriguing. As a result, I now have to throw away 75 bags while also losing money. Thank you very much, Amazon.
Not by a long shot. They're tasty, but they're not like the store-bought variety. After reading some reviews, I assumed they were OTC crackers. They're about the size of a quarter and are completely flat.
a delivery that has gone bad While I receive these crackers on a regular basis, I have had two instances in which the shipment contained stale crackers with a moldy taste; I absolutely love these crackers when they are fresh and am very disappointed with this current batch.
They're ideal for a quick bite to eat. I can eat them without feeling stuffed because each bag is only 70 calories. br>They keep for a long time because they're packaged in small bags, and they're also delicious in soups and salads.
These are without a doubt the best oyster crackers I've ever had. The difference is in the wheat and the recipe. It's not nearly as salty as it used to be. With any soup, this is delicious.
