In all the years I have eaten skyline chili, I do not know all the things I know. I got started eating it when my mom met the original owner back in 1949 and he never told her in all those There is only one thing I know about this dish it is delicious and made with
The meat
My guess is that it is the restaurant company Skyline Chili based in Ohio. In a restaurant, you will find similar packaging to what you will find in the market. We have done this as well when nearby. Besides being good crackers for soup, they also make a good sandwich cracker. There are two times as many oyster crackers in this pack as you will find at the grocery store.
The serving size is 19 crackers, with 2grams of fat per serving.
Selected User Reviews For Skyline Chili, Cincinnati's Famous Oyster Crackers, 6 oz (3 boxes)
We recommend using this product within 15 days of receiving it. All three boxes have a best by date of 8/26, and I received all three on 8/11. It is impossible for me to return them, so basically I am screwed and I predict they will be stale when I return them. You should beware.
It is mostly because I love the salt on the crackers that I love skyline crackers so much. I did not find any flavor in these and they tasted.
We think these are superior to any cracker we've ever tried.
It was only natural to buy these crackers for when we make chili because we just love Skyline. As soon as the order arrived, there were three crushed boxes. of the crackers even had the bag opened because whatever crushed the box and most of the crackers were crushed as well. The fact that they have discontinued their food is very disappointing and disappointing to us. We were clearly not taken care of when our order was handled.
I love oyster crackers with any soup, but once I discovered these, I could not live without them. You can add these to soups as well as snack on them, as their excellent flavor makes them a significant addition to the meal. Despite their “uncooked” appearance, I have found other oyster crackers slightly doughy in taste. Adding them to the soup won't make it any better. You have done a terrific job.
But you need to be careful. My teeth crunched on a box when I opened it. I didn't notice that the box had almost been gone before I knew it It was a great compliment to the "Cincinnati style" chili and busketti that my wife and I made together.
I like it so much! I'm not sure what they bake into these crackers, but they are delicious!.
The oyster crackers that they sell are very good, however, I cannot understand why they are so famous.
