This is a great snack for Keto diets. My wife and I eat it almost every day. These would be a good choice for anyone following a low carb or high fat diet. You can compare them to cheese balls or puffs, but they are crunchier and no These are not filled with preservatives or chemical additives either.
Having been an avid customer of Moon Cheese products since they first made their way to Amazon, I have always enjoyed their products. You can enjoy these lovely cheeses alone, on salads, in soups, or in any other creative way you can think of using them. They're not greasy, they're very portable, they have a lovely crunch, and they're very satisfying. Yet, I must admit that I was highly disappointed when I tried the "new" Cheddar Bacon variety they introduced recently. This product contains no bacon! Instead, a smokey additive has been added to give the illusion of bacon flavor! What the hell are you talking about? The taste was absolutely nothing like bacon at all, and worse yet, I spent the next 24 hours re-acquainting myself with it You should stay away from this horrid flavor by trying to burp it up as much as you can. It was a completely unpleasant experience, and I will never repeat it! Having thrown away the second bag, I'm not sure what I'll do with the third. I just can't stand it!

For this review, we ordered the 10 pk variety because we wanted to try the different flavors for the first time. To begin with, we were unable to rate the freshness of this product due to the following. (2) The product is crisp and hard to chew. The texture of the product is similar to that of dehydrated soy, but becomes chewy once you smile and the saliva enters the mouth. It is not what I expected from a fresh, crunchy cheese product, (3) the cheddar flavor is mild rather than bold, and the bacon cheddar has an extremely synthetic bacon taste that leaves a horrible aftertaste. I haven't tried any other flavors yet, but I probably won't. During the same order as this product, I also ordered a product from a different brand with the same type of cheese crunchies to compare. I have already ordered more because they are so much better. In order of preference, I think the pepper jack was my favorite, then the gouda, then I have to say, they do have a somewhat wrinkly texture, almost like cheese curds. Although I love cheese curds, I don't mind eating them. It was a very enjoyable experience. I will order again in the future.
Unlike puffy cheese balls, these cheese balls do NOT puff up! Getting past your mental association with them might be the only factor that can make Moon cheese appealing to you. The cheese balls feel like actual freeze dried cheese and are not nearly as powdery as you'd expect and are more fried than you would imagined. There is no easy way to explain it. Charcuterie is my favorite accompaniment to dinner in the evenings, so I really enjoyed these. The different flavors were a nice change of pace. Are there any more I'd like to buy? I'll probably stick to keto if I keep doing it. It would be great if they made sampler packs like this with individual portions as well Considering how convenient it is to grab one on the go, they could really capitalize on this.
