Questions & Answers

According to this, the total weight is over 21 pounds, but it's actually a six count. The bars are 24 ounces each is not making any sense at all Do you have any idea how many bars there are?

36 bars total in this order, each box containing six bars, for a total of 6 boxes and 36 bars. Approximately 7 ounces is the net weight (according to the box). The weight in ounces per box is 44, so it would be about The total weight of the order is 13 ounces (my math isn't that good).

It is said that some live bugs were found Do they not ionize them or something prior to packaging them?

To seal the package, they pass it through the sealer. It was the sunflower seeds that contained the bugs. A flour machine can get moths in it just like flour gets moths in it because it is loaded with so many sacks that they aren't visible. Tastes are done on just a few batches, not every single one. My apologies for not being as helpful as I would like

Can you tell me when the expiration date is? Do you know how long your products will last?

During my purchase of this product, it showed a pull date of at least 4 months away. Consumption of the product is no problem due to the duration of its shelf life.

How long is the shelf life of this product?

As of the date on the box, it would expire in nine months.

It does not live up to its reputation It's a scam
3/5

My area has a lot of bars like this, but it is hard to find them. Thus, I selected Amazon as my service provider. A picture of one of the six boxes I received can be seen here. There is a small box below the empty wrapper that contains what was inside. Note that it is not "Sweet & Salty" A salty taste. Consider the bar at the bottom of the page. The one you're talking about is the genuine article. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING this product. There is also a bad taste to it.

Those who prefer protein versions should try this
5/5

Nature's Way makes two types of sweet and salty bars, these and a protein bar. Some seem to be confused that they have changed the name. Protein is the healthier choice. More protein and likely less sugar and oil in the protein version. It is better to choose the bars with a milk chocolate bottom rather than the protein bars with peanut butter bottoms This has a strange waxy coating to me that tastes waxy, and it seems rather dry despite that distinct "protein powder" taste. They do (or did when I ate them) have a lot of whole almonds, while these have only bits, some of them Even so, I know I am eating a candy bar, not a healthy snack, and I enjoy eating them because they are very tasty. You can tell by looking at the ingredients and nutritional information of these bars that they are not healthy granola bars, but a healthier candy bar, which is fine, so simply snack on these bars knowing this. It is possible to find a healthy protein bar that is delicious and has come a long way.

Dark chocolate bits that are white in color? It is composed of (sweet and salty nuts, dark chocolate, and almond)
3/5

To begin with, I tried to buy two 6-box packs. The dark chocolate bits were not extremely dark, they were whiteish almost. I have been buying these bars at retail stores before, and never have I experienced them being a creamy white color. When I tried eating them, the dark chocolate bits disintegrated instead of remaining solid like dark chocolate usually does. Additionally, it had a strange, almost overly sweet taste to it, and it tasted nothing like dark chocolate. I have now gone through three of the twelve boxes and of the three, they have all had the same issue with the white colored dark chocolate bits, so I'm starting to wonder if these are instead being sold in bulk on Amazon instead of being rejected for retail sale to begin with. According to their expiration date, they will expire in September 2019. I thought they may be expired, but based on the expiration date they are indeed expired. In any case, I must say I am not happy with this situation. As a result, I bought these on Amazon, because I don't have access to them at my usual retail stores. Most likely, I won't be buying them through Amazon. If they also have white colored dark chocolate bits in them, I will be throwing away what's left of whatever boxes I have.

A new version of Nature Valley is released every few weeks
5/5

Certainly one of my favorite bars is Nature Valley "Sweet & Salty" have become more widely available My love for chocolate bars just gets stronger when they are salted and dark. It's a nice chewy candy bar, but it doesn't get stuck in your teeth like some candy bars. A thin layer of dark chocolate mixes along the bottom of this bar offers quite a bit of taste, keeping it from being too dry, which was a complaint with the original Nature Valley Basically, if you like peanuts, almonds, and dark chocolate and want a healthier treat without sacrificing taste (do not confuse this with actual health standards large enough to satisfy the craving for an afternoon snack, but not so big that you spoil your appetite or overindulge in calories before lunch or dinner.

There are two-thirds of a box filled with the wrong item
3/5

Subscribing to Subscribe and Save allows me to get this In my video, you can see that it is six boxes of "sweet & sour" while it is marked as such Adding salt to a nut makes it taste salty. Those are nice, but I was only given three of those, and the other three are crunchy. Since I do not want to go through the return process and my kids already ate one box of the good ones with chocolate, I am stuck with these 3 boxes which have no chocolate on them and will therefore.

Granola bars like this one were my favorite back in the day! (Update #3, July 30, 2013)*br>This morning I ate one of these bars, then opened another, and right before I bit into it, something white fell on my shirt
3/5

As I looked down I started freaking out. After removing the creature from me (stupid move), I still had the rest of the granola bar in my hand, so I laid it out on a piece of paper, and there was a live grub crawling everywhere on As a result, I took photos and a video and contacted General Mills, who apologized for the incident. It is true that the FDA allows bugs to be in your food, but I didn't expect to see live grubs crawling over it and leaving weird silk/web strands on it. I'm a subscribe and save customer of this granola bar since 2011, and another box just arrived at my door today. I'm very pleased that Amazon refunded my money for the most recent box. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me and I no longer intend to eat packaged granola bars. There was a change to this product once again (update #2 on March 7, 2013). Though it still tastes good and sweet, its bottom is now a rich chocolate-based flavor as opposed to peanutbutter. I am requesting SIX boxes of theses, not just It's difficult for me to understand what the other reviewer This granola bar used to be one of my favorite granola bars (Updated on May 22, 2012)! There is one problem. In the last two batches of subscriptions I received, I noticed General Mills had changed the recipe! Terrible mistake! As a result, the version in use today is much stickier and more difficult Additionally, the taste of the food is not the same as before, and there is a change in nutritional value. In both the cases, using the same amount of calories results in an increase in total fat. The amount of saturated fat is decreased, but the amount of sodium is increased, and carbohydrates are There is a reduction in fiber and an increase in sugar! This means that what used to be a 4 Weight Watchers Points Plus breakfast is now a 5 Weight Watchers Points Plus breakfast. Yes, it is only 1 point, but the taste is no longer as good as it used to be. On the ingredients list, a significant difference is that the dark chocolate chunks have been reduced, but there is In sum, I wish they would go back to the old recipe because the food is still good, but is not quite as great as it used to be. "***" - The following previous review has been done The (November 5, 2011)- This is a chewy tasty granola bar that has dark chocolate on the inside rather than milk chocolate and is pretty sweet, but not overly so. There is a nutty flavor from the almonds and a crunch from the peanuts A butter-like substance There is a layer of peanut butter on the bottom that I like, and I don't even like peanut butter. It fits both perfectly, and at 4 points a bar, I have enough points left over for a healthy lunch or dinner. I am on the Weight Watcher Points Plus program and I was looking for a filling granola bar to eat either as breakfast or dessert.
