This is a complete waste of money. These bars are made entirely of sugar (of various kinds). They're much sweeter than the mini balls, with no crunch or texture. Kind or nutrigrain bars would have been a better choice. Because the nutrition label is conveniently absent from the product pictures, I wish I had done more research. I would not have purchased these if I had known they were covered in sugar. I'm now stuck with a large box of these items that I can't return or refund.
There's too much to say, but basically the best and most nutritionist and healthiest brand you'll find; there are others that I live with, but this brand's products all meet my needs in terms of minimal ingredients, very little added sugar if any, real fruit and flavor, real food, and benefits for a variety of diets.
I gave it a four-star rating because the description stated that it was a mixed bag, but the box only contained chocolate chip bars. This isn't as bad as it sounds. The chocolate chip is one of my favorites. I was simply surprised and disappointed by the lack of variety.
We normally buy this brand's granola balls, but I couldn't find our gluten-free version. Granola bar is provided free of charge. These are too squishy for my son, so he doesn't like them. They do have a tendency to fall apart quickly. The flavor appeals to him.
The most serious problem I have is finding wrappers all over my home. I was not going to repurchase after they finished the box of 40 in two days, but after a few weeks I gave in. I now conceal the majority of them while leaving a few out. The blue box, which contains rice treats, is also popular with them.
It certainly doesn't hurt that they're also tasty!.
I like how simple and delicious they are! When I need a snack, they're like a tasty little treat. I wish they were a little less expensive, but they are well worth the investment.
Delectable Ingredients that are both healthy and delicious — a winning combination. It's also great that each bar has only 90 calories.
