This item came in a small bag rather than a jar when I purchased it. Because it's the same brand, the herb's photo is identical to mine, with only the leaf and no stems. This product meets my expectations because it is pure and has a strong flavor that is far more flavorful than regular oregano.

I previously stated that the appearance of this oregano did not lead me to believe it was Mexican oregano. I finally used it, and it has a strong flavor that reminds me of Mexican oregano. Actual Mexican Oregano (Lippia Graveolens) with side-by-side comparison photos Mountain Rose Herbs) and this Spice Appeal oregano, which I assume is regular oregano because it has tiny leaves and a lot of it is pulverized. The leaves and flower buds of true Mexican oregano are large, as seen in the photos.
This product had gone bad. It had a chemical odor to it. NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED. I am an expert at paying attention. Disappointed to the point of frustration. This is something I would not recommend buying. It has a strange odor to it.

There isn't much that is required. This was purchased for the sake of my health. It's supposed to be good for your digestive system and gall bladder, according to what I've read. My only criticism is that it contains a greater number of stems than I prefer. As a result, I crush it and remove any protruding parts.
