As an 85-year-old woman, I have been consuming olive oil for most of my life. Olive oil can be used with almost anything (my mother used to rub my chest with olive oil when I had crawfish). Because I am not a true connoisseur of EVOO or an aficionado, and I have fairly modest tastes, my opinion is not all that valuable. But Sitia asked me to give it to her, so I'm doing so now. The purchase has been a good experience for me. does have a pleasant OO flavor, which I really like (I hate when it tastes like vegetable oil) and the afterburn (which I hate) is not bad either. Ideally, I would like the flavor to be strong with some peppery aftertaste in the throat, but I realize that not everything can be ideal. In my case, I only buy recently pressed oil and finish it quickly, so I don't get musty or rancid As an average Joe, I think this product will appeal to me as well.
Having grown up with olive oil that had a bit of an olive taste from my great uncle, who would bring us oil made from olives grown on his property, I cannot imagine anything better. It would not be accurate to describe me as It's been my experience that most commercial olive oils are too bitter, too peppery, or don't taste of olives at all. My memory is hazy about how many bottles of olive oil had to be relegated to cooking because they didn't taste good. A few days later, I decided to order Sitia on a whim. All of a sudden, I am able to recall my youth's olive oil. An oil that tastes like olives, this one is gentle and mild. With its delicate texture, it can be used to serve salads of any kind. With a little oil, red wine vinegar, and a pinch of salt, you'll have the best dressed salad ever. Uncle Paul will be thrilled that his niece now has a memory to cherish of his olive groves with an oil that brings back such a pleasant memory.
I purchase this olive oil from this company primarily for daily consumption in order to lower my triglyceride levels. High polyphenol levels in olive oil are essential here -- and Premium Gold Sitia Olive Oil is just what the doctor ordered. My wife loved it, so I bought a pack of four bottles of it for the kitchen (which she loves). I kept the other three for myself. In the future, when I get a lipid profile done, I will be able to see how my diet is doing, but I will have to focus on developing my eating habits. 2 tablespoons daily with just a small bit of lemon juice, and I'm all good! I love the taste! There is no reason that you would be dissatisfied.
To lower my A1C, my nutritionist recommended incorporating more olive oil into my diet. I did some research and found that EVOs from Crete were considered the highest quality and that they had the highest content of polyphenols that can help with cancer prevention Activators of oxidation. As someone who has already been to Crete, I am already accustomed to the smooth taste of Crete olive oil. Sitia Organic Olive Oils found me through an Amazon search for high polyphenol olive oils. I ordered a bottle because the price was comparable to that of other high quality olive oils in my local supermarket. The flavor of this EVO is very smooth, slightly peppery and with no green 'grassy' taste that can be found in many Dips, salad dressings and drizzling on vegetables are all great uses for this sauce. In the future, I will certainly buy this product.
The first thing I did was to become In the end, I came to believe. It was a genuine surprise to find this oil of such high quality and versatility for the price. Its texture was excellent, as well. There is a very mild flavor, with slight grassy notes, for which I usually dislike olive oil but not at all with this one. This oil is ideal for infusions due to its mild flavor. Italian cooking and bread dip can be enhanced with garlic-oregano infusion, Latin dishes can be complemented with Cascabel Chili, and Indian dishes can be enhanced with coriander/mace. All the spices pair well with the oil, so it isn't a rival to them. You can also use it to make homemade dressing. As a new staple in my kitchen, it has earned its place!.
I've been guilty of purchasing the large bottles from the box store in the past and I've realized what a mistake I've made. There is nothing like it as far as taste is concerned. There is no doubting the quality or texture of this garment. With this, you can improve your cooking and food. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
I have now purchased three bottles in a short period of time! Getting enough of your books is impossible for me! I am an independent contractor I was amazed at the quality of the olive oil, which I am a self-proclaimed connoisseur of. The olive oil I've tasted in Tuscany is superior to any I've had in the US and only compares to olive oil I've tasted in a family vineyard in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. I like how fruity and silky it is- It has a smooth finish, but with a peppery touch. A hazy green-toned liquid floats in front of me The gold standard. Pesto, hummus, tahini, and za'atar are all flavorful versions of this dish. In addition to using it on salads and eggs, I enjoy drizzling it on them as well. It's true that I love it plain with pita bread, but I'm a guilty pleasure! Oh my goodness, that is delicious!.
It is with great regret that I announce that I am tend to purchase Greek olive oil since it has a stronger flavor and smell, which I find to be more appealing. Taste your olive oil and you will see why I love it. I was disappointed with this as it was too mild for me. The bottles I have purchased will be finished, but I will not buy them.
