I don't recall, but I do recall that this spinach powder was not very good. I believe it was mixed with something else, but that is just my guess based on my experience with other organic spinach powders.
I'm not sure if it was ever freeze dried, but it came in powder form in a messy bag that must have broken open at some point because the spinach powder was all over it, and the worst part was that it gritty my smoothies like sand.
There is no salt added; it is simply ground spinach. Nothing has been added to the list.
Nubeleaf organic spinach was substituted for this. br>There was some grit to the Naturevibe.

" (As I slowly unscrewed the jar lid, I noticed that the inner seal was also ajar and not sealed! And, on top of that, their product has no return policy! Do the math!.
I had to break the lid because it would not come off. The color was a brownish green when it was opened, and it had a peppery scent. It's a dark, rich green from KOYAH. This is what I threw away. I'm not interested in tasting it. I went back to read the reviews and realized that I should have done so before purchasing. A waste of money.
The jar was not properly sealed when I received the spinach. When I opened the lid, I discovered that part of the seal had already been broken. When I tried to close the jar, the lid would not go back on properly, and it would just spin around. I tasted the product and found it to be slightly off-putting; I attempted to contact the company but was unsuccessful. I will not purchase this product again, and I will request a refund from Amazon. It's a shame when we spend a lot of money on something and don't get the quality we expect. A big thumbs down!.
This is quite sandy and should be washed as soon as possible. The flavor of the spinach is pretty good, but there's a lot of sand in it. The fresh spinach at the store comes pre-washed. I don't mind paying more than $10 for a pound because it has been washed and costs $7 for a relatively small amount. I'm not sure about eating sand, I think I heard it's okay somewhere, but I'm redoing my entire meal right now and I'm looking for a more expensive brand. I guess you can put it in tea bags or something, but I need powder to add to Buckwheat pasta and Olive Oil where any sand is completely unacceptable.
I used this product several times in my smoothies and felt like I was chewing sand; the smoothies are thick, but the sand was very noticeable. I'm not one to complain, but the sand was awful, and the powder came in a pouch that appeared to be dirty on the outside, despite the great taste.
container that is filthy I'll start by saying that I didn't try the product because the package was filthy on the outside and the inside of the lid had water stains on it. The seal appeared to be insecure. The item appeared to have been dropped in a puddle before being placed in the box with dried dirt on it. I wouldn't dare to use it, and I'm afraid I won't be able to return/refund/replace it! To be honest, I have no idea what the finished product looks like, though I wish I did. I'm not sure where the package was damaged during the delivery process.
The color of the product is disgusting, the flavor is extremely salty, and the company's phone number is unavailable. This is a product that I will never buy again.
I wish I had read the reviews before I made my decision. This was a terrible purchase.
