When they're ripe, not before, I recommend putting them in the fridge.
Before I ate them, I didn't wash them - I received avocados that were unfit for consumption - It's completely rotten.

I can't prove that this was the cause of the change, but I'm glad it happened. br>I've ordered these avocados numerous times both before and after the merger, and I've noticed a significant improvement. Only one or two avocados may have a dark spot due to someone checking for ripeness. Nothing compared to the ones that are handled by both young and old people in supermarkets. As long as they're available, I'll continue to buy these buttery nuggets of goodness. If you're looking for a unique way to.
They were a few days away from being perfectly ripe. I waited a few days, and when they turned dark and swelled slightly under pressure, they seemed perfect; however, when I cut them open, I discovered only one was edible. In addition, the taste was off - The fruit's insides were slightly brown (a sign that it had gone bad). The other three were perfectly ripe on the outside, but were hard on the inside and had pits that wouldn't come away from the flesh (much like unripe avocados). It had a horrible, sour flavor to it. They were also quite small - about the size of a grain of rice. Is it possible that they were chosen too soon? Is it possible that I received a faulty bag? In any case, I don't think I'll buy these again if I can't see, smell, or choose them for myself.
This avocado was moldy and bruised when it arrived! I ordered four of these bags, and they're all awful. I'm not going to buy avocados fresh from Amazon anymore.
These are delivered unripe so that we can use them over the course of a week, cutting one up at a time for salads. These are a better value than one larger avocado in my opinion. One portion is divided into two parts. Salads for four people are ideal in terms of taste and nutrition.
On the day of my order, I expected fresh avocados to arrive cubed and ready to use in a salad recipe. I couldn't even cut into the avocados when they arrived because they were so hard and not even close to ripe; I had to rush to the store to get avocados, which defeats the whole purpose of ordering groceries. While I was there solely for avocados, I began to notice all of the items that would have worked much better in terms of portions and brands. Then I thought to myself, "If I was going to end up here anyways, I wouldn't have bought the subpar brand of blue cheese that I did; I only bought it because it was all Amazon had and I was trying to get the entire order delivered. "br>br>I didn't throw them out; they're sitting on my counter top and will probably be edible in 3 or 4 days. " br>br>Again, don't expect to use these the same day you order them. br>br>Wish Amazon had a solution for this kind of thing. Avocados for restocking a fridge OR avocados to eat right away. Other items, such as pineapple, may benefit from this method.
I didn't get to choose these because they were delivered. I knew they were going to be bad as soon as I touched them. You can tell they're rotten when the skin puckers and separates from the fruit. I sliced open each one and found them to be completely rotten throughout. Why is Whole Foods keeping these on the shelf and, worse, selecting them for people who order online? Each and every one of them had to be discarded.
Half of the time. These have a lot of inconsistency in terms of quality. Half of the avocados have nearly black stringy lines that crisscross it. Occasionally, 1/4 of the strawberries are bruised too much. Is it possible that it's because I ordered them out of season?.
I had two other experiences in the previous few months. In the bag, there are three snoozers. This is something I'm not sure I'll be able to order again. In a matter of minutes, they go from unripe to brown and fibrous on the inside.
