That person should find another job if they wrote such a detailed description of these candies. This is not hard candy by any means, it is soft peppermint and there is a major difference between the two and I ordered two packs because I thought it was what I was looking for, and Amazon did not refund me because they said it was perishable. This purchase was a total disappointment for me.
I had the same experience as other reviewers and customers. Each peppermint arrived in a plastic bag, which was either broken into a few pieces or fused into several sticks. As a result of the conjoined nature of the pieces, a sharp knife was necessary to separate them! I might not take it as seriously if there are some breaks for personal use as stirrers for chocolate on occasion. I am not satisfied. Let me give a bad review, even though I hate doing so. It would be nice if I could get some peppermint sticks from the store without leaving the house, since my grandkids really enjoy my hot cocoa station. It is the same brand that I got at the store, so I purchased it there. I was very disappointed when I opened the package to find half of them broken, so I cannot stir my cocoa with them. There is nothing left to do other than to bake with them. In the end, I need to travel to the state. As far as I know, they are non-returnable.
It was a good taste, and the texture was good, but they were sloppily packaged, so only 3 of them were intact.
