The asian pear hybrids are preferred by farmers because they cannot be affected by fire-blight and are easier for them to grow organically. These pears are more likely to be fraudulent since they are larger and more blocky in shape, and their skin is not covered in They are harder to cut and have large seeds when they are cut. In comparison to real Bosc, it has poor flavor. There is no buttery aroma or texture of Bosc.
