Fruit I received was in good shape, however it was It is a hybrid of Asian and Bosc pears that is often substituted for Bosc without due care. The asian pear hybrids are preferred by farmers because they cannot be affected by fire-blight and are easier for them to grow organically. These pears are more likely to be fraudulent since they are larger and more blocky in shape, and their skin is not covered in They are harder to cut and have large seeds when they are cut. In comparison to real Bosc, it has poor flavor. There is no buttery aroma or texture of Bosc. This is likely to be Amazon's method of acquiring mis-sold items The marketing effort should be more focused on selling authentic products rather than those represented by the packaging company.
Here are photos of my 2 pears, and also note the horrible smell they had. I am very disappointed. It would be great if you could improve.
It is usual for these pears to be However, we were at the Whole Foods store in Naperville, IL, this week. During my shopping, pears were being sold in Argentina, listed on the packaging as from Argentina, but every pear I picked up had either mold or holes in them. My final choice was one pear that was not too badly bruised and did not have mold on it. I enjoyed the crunchy texture and the flavor of the pears Dollar Japanese yen Even so, it is not worth the effort if it is garbage fruit Similarly to Whole Foods, I was able to count on Whole Foods for excellent produce, but since Whole Foods was purchased by Amazon, I have to be careful what I buy now. It's sad to say, but it's Always beware of the potential pitfalls!.
It is never traditional Bosc pears that they send me. Their leaves are always far too green, like those of Bartlett pears. The result is that the fruit while fine, has less of a delicate texture and flavor due to its grainier texture. Picking up my Bosc pears from Whole Foods is my regular routine.
This kind of pear is to my taste! Pears are full of tang and this one is a Queen of pears, despite its rusty appearance. To get the exact texture you want, you either have to order it just right or buy hard ones and let them sit out in your kitchen unrefrigerated until they are soft to touch. They don't have to be super soft, just Despite how many other cookies it contains, this one is just perfect. The sweetness and juice are just right. A pear that drips juice while you eat it does not appeal to me. There is no such thing as that in this one. This is a favorite of French pear. There must be something they know.
The fruit was seen to be ripe from the outside, but when you cut into it, you could tell it hadn't reached its ripeness. There was a green tint near the skin, and the meat was hard and tasteless. The photos were taken after they spent 4 days in the sunlight. The bananas and potatoes that I have used have been green as well. I urge you to add more fresh produce to the freshness I receive from Fresh.
The only reason I gave 2 stars was because I wanted the pears so badly without much juice. These are the toughest pears I've ever eaten.
There's something about them that makes me want to consume them one after As if some rat had been chiseling away at the snappy crisp texture of the pear, the cold sweet juice runs like a stream. There is no way I can stop myself.
