Prunes that are clean, dried to perfection, and organic I could not have asked for more. It would be nice if people who want very moist dried fruit would not review this dried fruit low just because it is As soon as I open a package of prunes and they are very moist, I worry about whether they will keep since mold, yeast, and bacteria can grow on wet food, and drying the fruit extends its shelf life. Additionally, I am aware that if dried fruit is too wet, I will pay for the extra moisture. If you want to eat nicely dried fruit, remember these two things If you really want your fruit to be wet, soaking it for a while right before eating will do. Rather than eating soft, moist food, why don't we chew a little to exercise our jaws? I see all kinds of contraptions that work by working the muscles in our jaws during chewing Dry out your dried fruit and eat it! It's a great time of year for You can expect more from me in the future.
If you want to use these as more than just snacks, I usually cook them in a large coffee cup in the microwave to maximize their digestive benefits. In case of a large mug, I just stick as many as will fit (maybe 10 or so) Cover them with water leaving about 3/4 inch from the top so they don't spill. Then I microwave them for 30 seconds or one minute at a time, depending on your microwave (but do not microwave them for longer than that, or they will burn and/or boil over). The microwave is next to my desk, so I can just take a break and let them rest for a minute before I hit them with the microwave. Keeping them cool between hearings and repeating this process like five times will result in stewed prunes without the use of For a few days, put the mug in the fridge. We promise you won't regret it. My only problem is that they get really sweet and gooey, so I only eat 3 or 4 at a time for a good serving of breakfast or You can eat them straight from the bag as well. Please be aware It is common to find one or two in the bag that have a pit on them. Be careful when you bite!.
In any case, I had read something about eating prunes helping a health condition that I have, so I decided to try it Thank you for ordering these because they are good and there are no slimes in them. YAHOO! I might be able to heal my health problem as well with these, but I'm enjoying them as a snack just the same.
THERE IS NO GLUTEN FREE INGREDIENTS. The use of false advertising. My package states that the product has been processed on a similar machine to one that processes wheat. According to the listing photos, there is not a disclaimer on the package. A person with allergies must avoid this at all costs. The items are not returnable, so I lost the money I spent and also my time Food is stuck in my stomach and I cannot consume it.
This brand is the only organic prune I will buy, since the organic ones I prefer always come with mold. I get sick when I eat them, so I started buying this brand. The concept does not make sense to me, so I won't buy it.
You cannot use these if you have bought Newman's Own products, which are gooey. They are, however, not as soft as those in the wild.
As advertised, there were two bags of prunes but only one came with the package. The product is great and I have purchased it several times but be aware some of them may arrive in single packages.
It's hard to find tastier prunes than these! As a consumer, I have tried many brands of prunes, including Newman's Own organic prunes, Whole Foods organic prunes, and Looney Pruney California organic prunes. Looney prunes are the second best after Woodstock prunes if you can't get them.
