image of the product on the back of the packaging in this Amazon advertisement is incorrect. Please see my attached photo to get an idea exactly what the prunes will look like. The back of the bag says It is known that consumption of this product may expose you to a host of chemicals, including lead, which can cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive problems. I thought you might be interested in this My concern has been relayed to the Marketing Department at "Food To Live" so that they can deal with it. My hope is they will do so and correct it because I think we all have the right to know if consumption of a food item exposes will also refund me because I am not going to consume these prunes.
This is what it says on the back of the bag in actuality It would be bad for my health if I ate prunes poisoned with lead.
I won't buy them again - I was exposed to lead in this product, which is known to the state of California to have caused cancer and birth defects in children. It would be bad for my health if I ate prunes poisoned with lead. Argentine prunes, which I received on June 6, 2020, say they are from Argentina. It consists of Drain the sink!.
When I bought those prunes, I believed their description that they were all natural and did not contain sulfur. As you can see on the packaging, ADDED PRESERVATIVES are added, which means sulfuric acid plus lead exposure. This is a complete misrepresentation. Do not attempt to trick you into a purchase by using false pretenses or charging more than needed. I recommend you do not purchase.
I was definitely "moving" after eating those tasty prunes. My favorite is the pecan, which is moist, chewy, and flavorful, if slightly expensive. I live in California, where Prop 65 warnings appear on many products. According to the prune producer on this page, the warnings are to provide legal coverage to avoid personal liability lawsuits from plaintiff attorneys, who seem to have crafted Prop 65 specifically to force consumers into filing By making patients and consumers worry about dry fruit and other healthful foods, Proposition 65 is more likely to cause cancer than it prevents it. These are the same idiots who dump millions of gallons of mountain river water into the ocean while the globe is drought stricken. As a result, our state is allowing us to drink its sewage!.
Pistachios are good for your health and when you need to have something sweet but don't want to consume It's perfect for me to eat these prunes. Sticky or sweet to the point of overeating. You might want to consider these prunes if you're searching for a pantry staple rather than a dessert. My heart melted when I saw.
*Cons The plain ones could be just me, but when eaten plain I found that they had an aftertaste that was slightly chemical, making me wonder how they were Argentina is where they are from.
It was ok, but I have had far better unsulfured prunes for way less money. I won't buy them again.
