There is no need to choose this product if you were searching for a healthy dried cranberry. As soon as I opened the package and saw there was cane sugar and sunflower oil, I was shocked. It was of no use to me, so I did not use it.
There is a serious problem with the rancidity of the product. It was a terrible experience buying six bags, all of them I would not recommend buying. Sunflower oil is an extremely inflammatory oil when rancid and is also unstable, so the reason it becomes rancid in storage is because they become unstable. The goal was to use these in a recipe, so I rinsed them with hot water to determine if it would improve their taste. I don't think so. Buying is not a good idea!.
