Because I use it for dip, I'm not sure. If there are no instructions, check the onion soup boxbr>at the store for instructions. They're 1 oz., I believe. Packets.

They used to make Lipton Secret Onion soup, but now they make barley soup. Is it possible to use this as a topping for the hot chicken and rice dish? Do you think it's dry?

It's hot and humid. a good substitute for Liptonbr>Onion Soup, which I am no longer able to eat due to barley allergies.

I've searched the entire city. Mom's never fails to please. Because of the changes in cooking when you're gluten-free, you may lose some flavor. Don't worry, it's fantastic; it comes in a resealable pouch with instructions on how much to use. When I first opened it, I thought to myself, "OMG, just one packet," but it's not like the dry soup mix you buy at the supermarket; you only need a small amount. One packet will definitely last a long time! I've made a few crockpot meals so far and still have plenty left.

This is my signature dish

My signature dish, according to our family, is the onion soup dip mix. Every party I attend, I bring it. Then I married a celiac and learned that the Lipton version contained wheat. This gluten-free version is a great substitute, and it tastes just like the original. I was able to save my signature dish. as well as my marriage.

The only suggestion I have is to add a little more mix than the directions suggest in order to achieve the best dip flavor.
