Bob's Red Mill Vegetable Soup Mix, 28 Oz

It's been a long time since I bought this. There is no longer a shelf of it at the supermarket this year. Amazon is carrying it on their site and I am really pleased with it. Two carrots and an onion to the basic recipe, i added a little ham if I didn't have it. Those with allergies might find it easier to tolerate liquid smoke. You should start by adding some seasonings, salt, and some chicken bouillon cubes, and boil them for fifteen minutes in the pot. Tasty homemade soup that no one can beat.

There has been a great deal of love and support for this company's 15 Bean Soup Mix for many years. This veg soup mix met my expectations. My family found the soup bland when I used the package recipe. It might be a good idea to rewrite the recipe. It would not be appropriate for us to purchase again.

The idea is to make your own soup by itself, or to add additional vegetables and vegetable bouillon or meat to defeat the purpose of vegetable soup, or it may be a lot more versatile.
