Can you tell me if this low sodium beef base is gluten-free?

There is a gluten free label on the container. prefer it to the regular beef base, it tastes good and it contains less sodium than that of the regular beef base

Do you think this contains garlic or onion? Have you ever been tested for an allergy to allium?

It might be worth checking out Minors. They have dealt with me in the past, and are very friendly. Since I started using their product probably 30 years ago, I've never looked back. Since I like garlic so much, I don't notice it, I use minor products quite a bit, so go light at first until it's ok since I purchase low sodium myself. If u go too heavy, it may be too salty for those who are sensitive to salt.

Does the base have the capability of being frozen?

If you freeze the bases, you can get rid of them. Putting food in the freezer extends its shelf life as well.

Without drippings, I make the best AuJus I've ever had
5/5

Purchasing a container of this jus if you like Philly cheesesteaks but don't want to make your own jus for them with drippings will be a great option! The best of all times! 30 years have gone by without me going on the boat! I promise you won't regret it! Add 2 cups of water and 3 Tablespoons of powdered sugar to the pot. 1/4 cup chopped white onion*1/2 tsp. of dried beef base*1/8 cup chopped celery*3/4 cup dried white onion*. One tablespoon of dried thyme. Half a teaspoon of ground black pepper. Salt, water, powdered beef base, chopped celery, chopped white onion, dry thyme, and pepper have been combined in a saucepan. Strain the mixture and place in a mixing bowl. Turn the heat to medium-high and add the water to the saucepan There is a lot of To make step 2 Stir the contents of the saucepan until they come to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for a few minutes. A low number. 3 Simmer the contents for 15 minutes, then remove the pan from the heat and discard it. Make sure the liquid does not burn at the bottom of the saucepan by stirring it every two minutes. Put the contents of the saucepan in a strainer over a mixing bowl, then pour the contents In order to remove the onion and celery from the au jus, this should be done They can be discarded or saved to use in another.

There is no other beef base like it that you'll likely ever taste or use
5/5

The taste of this beef stock is similar to that of The stock reminds me of the rich stock from a restaurant I went to before the end of COVID19. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be able to do that. The Chef Anthony Bourdain once snuck Minor's chicken base into his culinary school (back in his heyday) and used it as his base of chicken soup When the students used chicken bones to make stock, they added it to it and let it simmer They always said that his was the best tasting, so I thought "why not try the beef base. ". It was also necessary for me to purchase chicken base. The product is better than I expected, especially since I never thought a home cook would be able to obtain a product that would be as good as that for commercial restaurants. The reason I know, is since I searched forever and ever to find a base without MSG & This is due to the lower sodium content. Since I always make my own broth, I have not been able to find enough bones & cartilage to make my own This flavor is for beef stock & gravy Boxed or canned sticks from local grocery stores have a chemical taste to them that I can't stand. The thought makes me As a result of my allergy to MSG, I suffer from severe migraines that last 7 days or more within minutes of its consumption. I'm so sorry! There was only one line indicating No MSG added rather than NO MSG. Although I was a bit concerned, I did not get into a tizzy over it. Although I took the risk, I did not regret it My only regret is that I didn't do that. For your information This product has the best beef base. However, I purchased the chicken base for adding a little kick to chicken soup and stir fry. You'll love it! Making beef stock with this method will be the best stock you've ever tasted. I, at least, found it to be difficult & Over the course of my life, I have had the pleasure of tasting many excellent dishes from various cities throughout the United States thanks to my best friend who's a restauranteur. There are five US cities in our top 10 list San Francisco, New York, New Jersey, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Canada, North and South It could be Florida, South Carolina, Texas, New Mexico, etc or wherever you are If you don't believe it, Portland, Oregon has some excellent food to offer! The rain seems to have something to do with it raining nine months out of the year and We have inside entertainment for you. I sincerely hope that you like this product and it will provide excellent value to your customers Wrapped well, it arrives in good condition. Tape is securely fastened to the lid, and the box is sealed Their packaging is done individually by themselves!.

The flavor of the beef is amazing, and it costs less than the good salted ones
5/5

The stuff I'm talking about is awesome. Those holy smokes are awesome. Honestly, I am not sure. To me, giving up beef base was as big a life change as giving up salt. I thought I was doomed to never be able to use it Being put on a low sodium diet meant giving up Better Than Bouillon forever, and that was tough. I would never again be able to enjoy a good, hearty bowl of pho. A good beef stew or a dip with onions would be nice. There was no one to turn to. There was a powdered brand that I tried that was terrible. The food wasn't inedible, but it was The first ingredient in the food was maltodextrin, and there was no beef in the food. To make this stuff, you first need to roast beef, which is the first ingredient. Like a berry, and it tastes like a berry. You cannot have everything. (We do use maltodextrin too, but we cannot My sauces, soups, and stews are back to As well as this flavor, I recommend the chicken one. The following additional bonus is included Besides being less expensive per ounce than Better than Bouillon, these are also better! I am adding this to my Shopping List, and will be signing up for Subscribe & Save when it becomes I say a hearty "three cheers".

There is no better flavor than this! My husband and I have been using this product for years
5/5

Because I have low sodium, I have the ability to determine the right amount of salt to use I can make it in a smaller quantity so as to avoid opening a large container and wasting time. It is similar to pan drippings from a good roast beef. In some dishes, I do not add water to the stock I just add a small amount of water to make it taste better. The refrigerator is always stocked with it, so I'm always able to get it.

This product has been great for me
5/5

I have used it and liked it a lot Minors chicken broth has been low sodium for many There is no other broth that comes close to the rich taste of this one. In sauces, gravies, and soups, I use it all When making anything that calls for a beef or chicken broth, or whenever I want a richer beef or chicken.

The taste is excellent, the sodium level is very low, the price is reasonable
5/5

I lost a kidney back in February and I have been looking for replacements for foods I used to eat but now can't eat. This stuff, mixed in with Ground Beef from Dixie Dining (not! combined with really fatty ground beef (3 parts TVP to 1 part beef) creates an amazing sauce, a beefaroni, sloppy joe's, and anything else that loose ground beef would work well with.

This is excellent
5/5

It has a strong beef base with excellent flavor and not too much salt. Chef John suggested it for beef tips, and I can second that recommendation without reservation. The Trader Joe's demi-sweet and regular desserts are no longer available This is what I will use for my future needs, their bone broth and their gravy.

The product is great - It is not so important when it comes to packaging
4/5

One of the things I like about this beef base is that it only has 135 mg of sodium per serving. There are 300 mg of sodium in the regular, but 900 in the low sodium. fact, I prefer this to salt blocks because it tastes better. There was only one problem with the container. The opening had a large cavity, probably a bubble of air, and it weighed only 14 ounces. The 16oz cup is appropriate instead. Also, I bought a low sodium chicken base, which I like. Low sodium products are also great if you want to reduce your sodium intake, but even if you do not, they are great products.
