I did not start using this shipment for well over a month after purchase, so I did not realize I had $75 worth of trash until much later. In addition to making my own chicken soup and adding stock, I also like to eat chicken soup. When I was checking out this store, my normal brand was not available, so I thought I'd try this. It was a good price and the reviews were mostly positive, so I bought two boxes of this stuff only to discover that it has an odd, almost sour taste to it. The soup I made almost went to waste! I don't know if it was a bad batch or what, but I got an almost ruined The flavor was so bad I had to buy more chicken and make more homemade stock to make it taste better. Because Amazon does not provide refunds for groceries, it means that I'm stuck with a box and a half of this gross-smelling stuff Liquid with a strong taste.

At our local grocery store, we used to find these, however they no longer carry them, and only carry large sizes My biggest concern was how they would fare during shipping, but they were in great shape when they arrived. There are 12 in a tiny 'case' that is very solid, and none of them had been damaged. In addition, the ones we got have an expiration date that is eight and a half months after they were delivered. It was a pleasure to work with you. Additionally, the Kitchen Basics product has less salt and has better flavor than the heavily promoted brand. I like it.

The packaging smelled sour and it was poorly packaged? In my pantry, I put this, and when I wanted to use it a couple days later, the package was broken and leaked all over the place

I figured I would use it up, but the smell of pineapple was sour. It was bad enough to cook some rice in it, thinking it would be better when it was cooked, but I ended up throwing it all away. I didn't like it at all.

for those who lead a WFPB My favorite vegetable broth used to be Kitchen Basics no salt added veggie broth from Walmart- Despite the fact that my local store no longer carries it and they have no alternative, Amazon made me turn to them

Using the broth for soups and other dishes is a perfect way to follow a Whole Food Plan In my opinion, it is unfair that there is some form of delivery/handling fee that effectively raises the price per quart. In spite of the fact that I prefer to use my own stock (chicken, vegetable, etc. ) in some cases, I like having a packaged version on hand in case I do These Kitchen Basics stocks are all great, but this Unsalted Vegetable Stock is my favorite because it can be used for so many different foods. This works best for soups, so I use it mostly for that. Up here in the Pacific Northwest, I make a lot of soups during the chilly fall and winter seasons. Besides pasta, it can be used for cooking rice as well as for pasta sauces I always search for a salt-free liquid that is flavorful, but allows for reduction without overly salty results. As a result of the purchase, I have received the 32-GB One of the 8 oz cartons makes the perfect batch of soup for a single person like me The sodium content is lower, and the flavor is bright. I really enjoyed it. My own would have been better, but it's almost good enough for me to give up There's really no better way to describe it. This is a solid five out of five.
