Dinty Moore Beef Stew, 9-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

I am stunned! Something has changed in this regard. The Dinty Moore Beef Stew I've been eating for many, many years is bought from the grocery store by the case (s) at a time. Here on Amazon, I have them under Subscribe and Save. We used to love them because they were easy on the stomach and tasted great. The shelf on my shelf has 15 cases. Despite what some people might believe, the world is not about to I buy as much as I can when they are on sale. On the expiration date, they still have more than a year. The fruits I eat on a regular basis are several of these. The expiration date for some of the new ones is well into 2020, however. There were some new ones that I tried. It is shocking to see such a drastic I have tried two of them just to confirm that it was not a single bad one. There is a difference in taste. There is a distinct smell to it. As a child, I used to love the smell when this beef stew was prepared in the microwave. The smell of my stew cooking no longer fills the room. In addition to looking and tasting different, the meat also has a different texture. A FIX is a waste of effort if it isn't broken! I've purchased this product for years, but will no longer be purchasing it. I have bought this food item twice in the last 3 months. Also included in the box was a can of roast beef gravy (different production company). Do you know what it is with you companies that change our food products without telling us? I think it is necessary to say "new and improved" on the label. It is up to us, the customer, to make that decision. There will be no more purchases of this Dinty Moore Beef Stew 9 oz microwavable bowl. If I still have cases on the shelf, I can just keep making them until I come up with your "New and Improved" cases. This may take me a long time to discover. My next step will be to throw away the rest of it when I find the expiration date. Several of my shelf items have expired since the last date I looked, so I'm not sure when the change occurred. Hopefully what's on my shelf is mostly the old taste.

It is a very foul tasting mess with very little meat. This mess contained mostly mushy tiny meat balls, lots of mushy carrots, and only a few potatoes, and I just could not finish it. This product WAS good before it got messed up.

There is also a difference in taste. I agree. It is more tasteful to use metal cans than The two of them come from different places as well! A strong taste of beef can be detected in the metal can, as well as a strong salty taste. Therefore, I prefer the plastic even though it says less salt (just like the old days and when I was growing up). My neighbor gets the metal can I have left over. Getting multiple packages is also not more expensive than getting one package. There is a $5 difference between the online and in-store price. The cost for each item is USD 0. 50.

With these few product flaws aside, I believe the product is edible, but I have no idea whether my Chihuahuas would enjoy the product. They might tire themselves out trying to find the beef?.

It doesn't exactly taste as good as the canned version but they can be stored in a cupboard, they are precooked, so if the power goes out you can eat it, it is cheap, and it has meat and vegetables. Additionally, even if you just let it go, you'll have a perfect lunch size to keep on your.

I love the Hormel Dinty Moore Beef Stew and it is so easy I would have rated it It was really good to find them at a great price when I ordered them (cheaper than I occasionally find them in local stores on sale) and I was really looking forward to getting In my area, they had raised the price so much that it is now more expensive than even the most expensive store Therefore, I will no longer order more items from.
