The item is extremely hard to find in any store, so I have ordered it on Amazon a number of times. The mix you will need for venison stew is all in one! You will not need anything else. Often, I add up to 4 large potatoes, some carrots, a bag of pearl white frozen onions, and cut up potatoes to my recipe. For ease of use and whether it keeps for a long time, it's cooked in the crock pot It is a cold winter evening and you are enjoying a great meal. The product is good but one of the bags was open, and about half of its contents spilled in the outer packaging. I recently bought this stew starter again when I had run out of it so I threw it away. If you order this product just make sure the bags are sealed properly.
