It enhances the flavor of food very well. Chicken and rice,chicken noodle soup, chicken dumplings (this is for the dumplings themselves as well as the broth),any kind of boiled or stewed chicken are a few of the dishes I make with it. Please be careful of the amount you use, since it contains a high amount of salt. As long as you treat it the same way you treat salt, it will work well.
As long as it is kept fresh, it will last for a long time.
In these days it is usually difficult to find some chicken bouillon that tastes good. Among the best and most affordable gums is Knorr. They have some other versions that taste a bit plasticky and artificial, but this one doesn't. The fact that they come in fairly big cans makes storing them easy. You can put them in sauces, but also in the water that you boil your pasta in. This is a solid product that performs well.
I have been using this product to cook boneless, skinless chicken breasts (at least once a week) for years, given its good taste and reasonable price point, compared with alternative products. That's why I was so happy to find it.
