I would not have bought it at that price, and I did not. I believe it is capitalism in its best--or worst--form.
The foundation is a viscous liquid with a high viscosity. A teaspoon of this seasoning enhances the flavor of nearly any dish.
In April of this year, I purchased it. It was opened in less than a week - Since then, it has been kept in the refrigerator. Sauces, soups, and gravy have all benefited from it. So, don't keep it in the fridge for too long! Tastes great a better taste ALL of their products are appealing to me. Bean soup is made with ham as the base.

Better Than Bouillon Chicken Base with Reduced Sodium This stuff is fantastic; I use it on just about everything. It has a wonderful flavor. Because it's difficult to find low-sodium foods in stores because of the virus, I order from Amazon. The expiration dates (use by) are accurate, and the product is delivered quickly. Good packaging.
When it comes to making sauces and gravies, this is my "go to" recipe. It eliminates the need for stock boxes, which take up valuable shelf space in my cramped New York City kitchen. It adds a lot of flavor with a small amount of effort. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything!.
Simple to work with. You'll find more uses for it as time goes on! Also great as a thank you gift for someone who enjoys cooking and looks after your cat while you're away! br>Lower sodium version is my favorite.
It's the best chicken broth I've ever had, and it's my secret ingredient in almost all of my soups; it's even delicious to drink by mixing a teaspoon of the paste with hot water. You can also use it to flavor rice or couscous.
The lower sodium versions of 'Better Than Boullion' are not always available in stores.
350mg sodium is required, but 500mg has already been received.
Also, don't forget to sample the other flavors!.
