This isn't the case. Neither my wife nor I are vegans, but we follow a vegetarian My opinion is not so important, as I'm just along for the ride, but her cooking is great. She uses chicken stock in a number of her dishes. To tell the truth, I cannot tell the difference in any of the foods.
It was a hit! I made vegan chicken noodle soup (recipe from Hot for Food) with Better Than Bouillon, No Chicken Base for vegans and it was delicious. There was a satisfying taste of chicken in it, and I was completely happy. In addition to being wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a box, my bottle was also well protected. When it's straight from the jar, it's salty, but I'm certain this is the same for all bouillon, but once it is diluted with water, it's delicious. A product like this one would be a good purchase.
My intention was to make some sort of ramen-like dish the other day in order to use up some vegetables. This bouillon was made into broth by mixing 2 quarts water with 3 tablespoons of it. Just about half of the jar was used. My dish was later topped with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, white pepper, garlic and onion power, a bunch of veggies, and then I served it. Added some leftover broccoli, some peppers, a little left over miso, and some tasty baby bok choy after boiling miso for a while. Finally, I added vegan ramen noodles to the pot and let it cook. I ate it, and it was fantastic! It was a hit with both my girlfriend and me. This product is vegan, but so hard to believe.
In my experience, it does taste very much like chicken broth. I used it to make chicken rice soup. I wouldn't call it exactly right, but it comes close. I only have a complaint that the sodium content is really high. 650 milligrams of sodium are in one teaspoon, which is a quarter of the daily recommended limit. There is a need for To make 5 tablespoons of stock, add 2 cups of water. There was still a lot of salt in it even when I used less than that amount. There is also corn syrup solids in this product. In case any of you have concerns about sodium or corn syrup, please keep that in mind. In my opinion, you shouldn't eat too much of this I plan to use it occasionally only. There is no doubt that the food It's funny, because my cat thought it was chicken broth since he wanted some. You might have to pay a little bit extra for this but it should last for quite a while. If you use it to make broth, do not add any more.
We received a package that was leaking and smelled bad. This jar's lid seems to be broken because of its flex and it has a lot of flex to it. The packaging is awful, and as I attempted to request a replacement or return, there appears not to be an option I am very disappointed with what I received. It is not even safe to try since there is no vacuum in the can and it is clearly not chilled.
A bouillon that is as rich, complicated, and tasty as this one does not exist on the market. In this case, the same applies. There is no comparison between the taste and that of chicken broth. This is a favorite and something I use frequently with my vegan husband (I'm a vegetarian). You can use the "Gravy in a Snap" recipe from the BTB website to make tasty gravy (perfect for Thanksgiving). Simply add a bit of white wine. This recipe is also perfect for making broth when someone is feeling sick. Despite the fact that I don't understand how they do it, BTB vegan bases are amazing A die-hard fan The sake of.
It's hard to find this product in my area, so I bought it through Amazon. I love it and it's hard to find in the stores nearby. It appears that the lid was not properly tightened before the seal stickers were applied, which caused it to leak. I can't return it, so I am having trouble getting a refund or replacement since it is not returnable. With this product, I can make old fashioned lemon rice soup, Chinese noodle soup, and gravy. It tastes just as it did when I was a kid and my non vegetarian family enjoys it as well. Although I am not sure if it is a manufacturing malfunction or a shipping issue that causes the caps to not seal closed properly, I see from other reviews that it is not a one-time problem. The problem is that the power is off. If there is a refund or replacement, that would be great. Update
Customer service is issuing a refund as a result of my call. I would not change a thing about the product, just maybe there is a problem with these particular lots.
The flavor of this soup is similar to chicken broth, it really is. With it, I make an excellent vegan chicken noodle soup with tofu, or use it to make quorn chicken, which is not a vegan product. I can also prepare rice with it or make gravy with it. As well as the beef flavor, there is a nice aroma. In comparison to another vegan chicken bouillon that I tested, this brand has a much more authentic taste.
