Was looking for a repellent to keep dogs away from it. My neighbor didn't clean up the poop. She let her mini mut poop in my yard. It's the same thing over I simply sprinkled this on the grass along the edge of the road. Rain and wind have made it necessary to reapply. It's almost like that little turd's memory of that incident is intertwined from then on and it avoids my yard like an I appreciate the potent scent you filled the room with! It's strange to say, but I've never had red pepper before. Buying it as a favor for two people who have faced unwanted visits from animals was my motive. Although no one desires to harm the environment, co-existing with other organisms can often be a challenge, especially in an enclosed garden. In essence, red pepper can be a huge deterrent for animals because their senses are so sensitive. This is a great non-toxic alternative. The majority of animals are toxic to this solution. Often times the spread will need to be repeated, but most animals learn pretty quickly to steer clear of unwelcoming areas. Possibly handle pepper with care around sensitive vegetation in the beginning when it is being applied. I am not sure if pepper changes the soil.

Besides the fact that these are the GROUND version of the red pepper flakes found in supermarkets, I just wanted to mention to the other reviews the fact that they are GROUND. The red pepper has a slight heat and has a rich flavor that I really like. As a rule of thumb, pepper flakes do not give food the flavor it deserves as well as pepper that has been ground. Red peppers are generally delicious, and this one has a good flavor. Nothing to worry about here in terms of flavor. This size has a tendency to not be filled nearly all the way but that is to be expected when buying seasonings of this size. The price (around $8) is reasonable given how much is in the container. My heavy usage of this product is still working well I probably use it several times per week, but a little will go However, I haven't been able to locate this pepper, so I'm not sure if this price is competitive. I usually pay between $5 and $10 per pound. I guess red pepper is not commonly ground since it is not commonly found in the grinder. Maybe you're here because you couldn't find it, which is why I would say look around. I would rate this as a one star as the container could have been filled up with a little more it here (at this price).

In addition to reading some articles online about red (not black) pepper as a safe, non-lethal treatment for cats that are pacifists and won't kill the rodents, I took action and did some research on it. The rodent repellent should not be toxic. There is no harm done to the cats since the poison is not present. Obviously, it won't kill rats either, but at least it's supposed to keep them away. Due to the fact that I was going to sprinkle a lot of red pepper around the cat's feeding area, I wanted a big jar, but I couldn't find any at the grocery stores. I am thankful for this item since it was just what I needed. There's a lot in the bottle, so it will probably last a very long time. Oh yeah, and the red pepper seems to be working so far too. This product has removed rats from my home for several weeks since I began using it.

Immediately after removing the paper, you are hit with the aroma of the spice and your mouth begins to water. And to top it off, I expected maybe 1/20th the quantity of what this product includes. The picture of 12 oz pepper I had in mind is not what I thought it would be. It's almost one pound, so be prepared to receive I feel that I got tremendous value for my As long as I take good care of it, I should be able to enjoy it for a long time.

I liked it very much and the amount of heat was just right. You should use this when you need just a little kick of spice in a stew, and not when you want the whole party to be sweating. I like the flavor, but it's just a little on the spicy side. Even with Sriracha, it's not very spicy Here, we are on the same level. You want spices to be aromatic anyway, so that's what you want When trying out new things in pasta sauces or stews, this is not too powerful, allowing for good mixing. As the heading suggests, all of this is true. There is a mismatch between the size of the flakes and the holes that are present on the mouth, so it gets 4 stars. Those holes are too small to get any flakes out of, as the size of the flakes is much larger Most of the time, I open the opposite half and take as much as I want. It may be a little inconvenient ( ). It is a flaw in the design. Even so, there is nothing wrong with the quality of the product.
