There is no way to get some of it in Florida, because one of my friends brought some back from NY. Great marinade. I'd highly recommend it. The food has been hailed as being delicious by everyone that has tried it. I even have to get the Lupo chicken for my daughter! tastes delicious on everything, but we like to marinate the chicken for two to three hours in the refrigerator. You get the best results if you let it sit for a while. You can grill it and serve it with salad, rice, or potato and your guests will love it!.
Having grown up with Lupo's in Endicott, NY, I got to know it well. As such, I miss the real Spideys since I have lived in Atlanta for the past 20 years. My new capability allows me to do that.
Though I live in Colorado now, I was born and raise in New York. The pizza is a favorite in my family, and we always look forward to eating them, so when I saw that I could order it, I was thrilled! Our family had a barbecue at my folks' house, and we enjoyed the spiedies.
The flavors are good but it is not worth the money for a half gallon. I got a gallon last time for the same price I got half a gallon this time.
The meats that it flavors the best are chicken and pork. Its rich flavor complements the meat throughout the entire meal, as opposed to a lemon, garlic, or onion based Italian sauce. The reason I visited Edinburgh was that I had relatives there. The local sauce they introduced was said to be spiedie. In dishes containing chicken or pork, I use it for a variety of cuts.
Amazon made this available to me, and I was excited about it My spirit is boosted with a little taste from home. When I received my shipment, the seal had been broken, and the Spiedie Marinade had escaped from the container and spilled into the box, so the product was not edible. After spending half a gallon of my hard-earned money on this product, I really disliked it since I have grown up with it. I love the taste of it, but felt that the product was not worth the money since the container went in.
