It can be squirted over pasta or mixed with any food or sauce you wish. I love the flavor of it on pasta and how concentrated it is It allows me to eliminate the need to use traditional tomato
According to the box I bought, the "use by" date is 3 I gave some of the tomato paste to my friends, so it's still a lot.
Italy claims to be the manufacturer of this product. Keeping several on pantry shelf is nice because I don't have to open a can of tomato paste, just open it and place it in the fridge

There is only one of me and I'm 81 years old. Cooking for one is much easier and much more fun now that you can use this delicious and versatile product. It's important to know that I am the lone gourmet. A second tube and a third tube are on order.
Tomato paste in a tube was discovered by my wife about a year ago, and she's never been the same since. The tomato paste we've bought in the past came in little 3oz cans, which eventually started to grow science experiments in the refrigerator back end. Tomato paste tubed avoids exposure to air (and mold or bacteria), and you can portion out the exact amount you need for each dish.
We use this Tomato paste in soups, pasta sauces, pizza sauces, and even chicken dishes. The only thing to note about this product is that, because it is a concentrated Tomato product, it may be a bit sweeter than you were expecting. This is a product we have purchased multiple times at the grocery store. It is priced comparable to those at our local grocery store but with the added convenience of being an AmazonFresh item.
Since you don't have to open the whole jar, you are able to use a little bit of each for anything you want. There are still a lot of things I can do with this sauce, including squirting it on salads, crackers, flatbreads, etc.
I love the tomato mozzarella flatbread from Panera, though This is crazy to me since it is over $1000. 3 flatbreads for a dollar is what I bought. The cost of a fresh mozzarella ball is $3. 00. Two bags of spinach for two dollars and a bag of spinach for three dollars. I could not resist the temptation to buy this wonderful paste at 00. It is cheaper for me to make 6 flatbreads instead of 2 at Panera and I can have spinach instead of Yeah, me too!.
