For barbecue sauces, Rudy's is a medium-spicy option. This one isn't as sweet as the others. Their "Sissy Sause" is a little sweeter (but not overly so).
The first is a 32-ounce bottle, while the second is a 16-ounce bottle.

My first bottle of this sauce was given to me by a neighbor in exchange for watching his cats while he was away on business. Because the first bottle was so good, and my neighbor was unlikely to buy me a second bottle after his cats died on my watch, I bought a second bottle on Amazon. I bought a third bottle for my next-door neighbor as a peace offering for killing his cats. Now that we've reconnected, we're planning a trip to Baton Rouge next month! Rudy's is to be commended!.
However, there is a broken bottle in the sauce and the sauce is in a box with a broken bottle. We'll have to wait and see if Amazon will let me write this review because they keep taking down similar ones. br>br>The sauce is flavorful and reminiscent of a Texas-style sauce. It is, without a doubt, my preferred method of transportation. br>br>4 stars for flavor; however, it is shipped with minimal protection, so I'm not sure what the overall success rate is for receiving one intact. br>br> br>I gave it a one-star rating because I can't seem to order one and have it delivered in good condition.
My only regret is that I now have to spend money on this barbeque sauce a few times a year because it is just so damn good, thanks to a visit from a Texas friend. Everything about this sauce, from the mild kick to the rich flavor and taste, makes me want to put down the pen and pick up a spoon and eat something with it. br>br>I like to eat this with chicken and rice; mix in about a third of a cup with the chicken and rice for a delicious flavor. It can, however, be used in a variety of ways.
So good. I was given a small container of Rudy's in this flavor as well as Sissy's. This bbq sauce has made my life so much easier. It's the only thing I use. The sauce does not require any additional ingredients. There's a lot of flavor in this dish, but it's not too spicy or hot.
For years, I've visited Rudy's in Texas. I enjoy all of their smoked meats, and their sauce is exceptional; it's a spicy sauce that's difficult to duplicate.
This is without a doubt the best bottle sauce available. On chicken, brisket, and ribs, I used it. Very good.
Since my first trip to Texas, where I was first introduced to the restaurant, I've been a fan of Rudy's sauce. Since then, whenever I'm in need of sauce and don't feel like making it myself, I reach for Rudy's.
My sister brought me a bottle from Texas, but now I just order it from Amazon! Thank you, Amazon!.
