So, let's get this party started. These products are fantastic. The line is incredible, as is the flavor. HOWEVER! Whoever is selling these items is charging three times the price listed on the website, which is only $6 for a bottle of sauce! I don't understand why I just paid twice as much for the same thing. I literally just got back from a trip to the killer hogs. Instead of the two bottles I bought for nearly $30, I went to Com and got a lot more for $30. A complete rip-off!.
I recently purchased a bottle of this sauce and decided to give it a try after smoking some ribs tonight. When I first received it, I was skeptical because it was a bit pricey, but after tasting it, I went straight to the computer and ordered two more bottles. I've got my favorite sauces, Stubbs and Williamsons Brothers, and they're both great, but I've always had to tweak them because they were missing something in the flavor department, but that's not the case with this sauce, it's perfect in every way, it's got just the right amount of sweetness, heat, and spiciness, and it all works together perfectly!.
I've experimented with a variety of techniques. KH is, without a doubt, the best. With 14 pounds of pulled pork, I upped my game with this bad boy over the weekend. I can't tell you how much I adore this. I recently purchased all of their rubs as well. From here on out, I'm not going to use anything else. KH, you did an excellent job. So I bought this because I needed it for one of Malcom's recipes. I didn't have a favorite vinegar sauce recipe, and I'm not a huge fan of vinegar-based sauces to begin with. This is a one-of-a-kind case. Sweet and flavorful, with a nice depth to it. I've used it in a variety of recipes and find it to be quite versatile; I've used it on chicken, ribs, and smoked meatloaf, and it's fantastic on all of them. I'll buy this and other Malcom products again, which is saying a lot considering I'm a bbq purist who makes all of his own sauces, rubs, injections, and brines. On a related note, if you've been living under a rock and haven't heard of Malcom's bbq YouTube channel "howtobbqright," you should. I've never tried a Malcom recipe that I didn't enjoy!.
I'm constantly on the lookout for new ways to spice up my grilling. I have a variety of rubs and sauces, but none of them contain vinegar. I was intrigued by Malcolm Reed's use of this sauce on ribs, so I ordered a bottle. I prepared a pork tenderloin that was rubbed with coffee and Cosmos Q Honey Killer Bees rub. This is what I drizzled on top after grilling and slicing. It was fantastic, man oh man. Although some of Malcolm's work isn't particularly good, it's worth a shot. I'm looking forward to trying it out on my next rack of ribs.
It's fantastic on pork shoulder and ribs. Great vinegar-based barbecue sauce with a bit of viscosity.
We enjoyed it so much that we will be ordering more in the future.
The best vinegar-based bbq sauce on the market, in my opinion. Try it if you want to take your pulled pork to the next level. Never falls short of expectations.
