My favorite way of preparing this sauce is to use it on veggies and tofu while baking and stir-frying. The flavor is a little bit on the sweeter side but not enough to make it a bad choice, rather, it's a good one.
Soy sauce isn't required for the dish, but it adds a lot of flavor to it and I don't have to use much. The fact that it is vegetarian is a plus for me as well.
We bought this based on a recommendation from @Nami as an oyster sauce substitute. In a house where there is an allergy to shellfish, this pantry item is a great addition.
The taste is great and there is no fish oil or oyster sauce in it, but you would not know it if you tried it.
My money is well spent since I get both flavor and value. It takes just a little to make a big difference.
My mouth was watering when I tried this sauce. A dish that was supposed to have oyster sauce, but I don't like it, so I used this wonderful sauce since it wasn't available. This was a great movie. This particular brand was suggested in the recipe, and I am very glad it was.
It was delicious.
