Questions & Answers

Are they similar to the other spicy 2x flavors in terms of taste?

I believe it tastes the same; I haven't tried the 2x, but it most likely does. Obviously, this is spicier.

Is this labeled "Halal" simply because it doesn't contain pork, or are the chickens slaughtered according to strict Islamic guidelines?

Because no real chicken or meat is used, it is Halal certified. It's chicken flavoring that's been added artificially. 💛

The best instant noodles I've ever had! Let me begin by saying that I eat a lot of instant noodles/ramen and frequent noodle shops and ramen restaurants in my area
5/5

Both Japan and Korea have sent me zenpop ramen boxes and imported instant noodles. I wouldn't call this "ramen" for several reasons, the most important of which is that it's more like a stir-fry noodle. Below, I've divided my review into three sections. br>br>Flavor: br>br>Aroma: br>br>Aroma: Is no longer on the hook! The sauce is absolutely delicious and, honestly, the real star. I think the fact that it's not powder goes a long way, and the recommendation to stir fry the sauce into the noodles should be followed to avoid dilution. If the spice becomes too strong for you, you can always add more water to dilute it, but I'm not sure why anyone would do that. br>br>Spice Level: br>br>Spice Level: br>br>Spice Level It's spicy, but if you're like me and eat habaneros or something spicier on a regular basis, you won't notice it right away, and it won't linger for long. The spice builds gradually, but as most chili connoisseurs know, the spice is first felt on and around the lips (since I was slurping it down so quickly because it was so good), and that's how I usually gauge how spicy something is. If you like your buffalo sauce spicy, this may not be for you; my gluten-free friend can't stand buffalo sauce and the smell of the noodles was enough to scare her away. br>br>Insert - Adding ons/Doctoring it: There's nothing special in the packet aside from the sauce (which they could just sell and I'd be happy), so doctoring it up could make a big difference. I added some chicken to the stir fry (as shown) to absorb some of the flavor, but not too much because I didn't want to spread the sauce too thinly and lose some of the spice and flavor. As someone who can handle ghost peppers (at least eat them), I might add some additional peppers down the road, such as piri piri (my go-to chili for everything). I'd choose piri piri over habanero or ghost because I don't want to overpower the flavor, which is already delicious. I could also coat the chicken in a sweet gochujang sauce before tossing it with the noodles. I'm also undecided about which vegetables I'd include, but I may do so in the future. Ons is probably the best way to reduce the heat (if necessary) while maintaining flavor. Overall: br>br> A delectable noodle sauce that is incredibly simple to prepare at home!.

If you can handle a ghost pepper, this is fine
5/5

After seeing videos of people trying these noodles on YouTube, I knew I had to learn more about them because I enjoy spicy foods. As with most ramens, the packaging was simple to decipher. Because I had a dry mouth when I ate it, I only got a big kick out of it. Everything was fine after drinking water; it has some heat, but if you can handle a raw ghost pepper, you can handle this. Although I detected a slight sweetness in these noodles, the flavor was unique and enjoyable. The heat gave me the sniffles, which I don't mind because I refer to them as "happy sniffles. " If you like spicy food, this is definitely worth a try.

It's a Little Bit Spicy, But It's Well Worth It
5/5

Basically, this is a fantastic and delectable noodle pack. On the other hand, it is extremely hot. It was well worth the effort, but it was extremely hot. The heat reminds me of hot Cheetos, but it's a little more intense. I'd say around one. 5x - 3 times the spiciness of regular Cheetos They're also addicting, so I'll probably buy them on a regular basis. Once or twice a week, indulge in one of these delicacies. I can handle spice to some extent, and I enjoy spicy foods, but I am not immune to it like some fortunate individuals are.

Toss in a can of chicken breasts, and you've got yourself a delicious meal! Before trying these, I had the 2 spicy noodles, which were good but the heat was almost too much for me; it took two beers and a glass of milk to finish one bowl
5/5

I also use ghost peppers at least once a week in my cooking. These are perfect, with a great flavor and just the right amount of heat. To make it more filling, I add a can of chicken. My wife and children must leave the kitchen when I clean the pan because the steam causes them to tear up. If they get too close to the sink, their eyes burn and they begin to cough. I'm the only one in my house who enjoys hot, spicy foods; however, if you choose to go down this path, be considerate of those around you.

Take YouTube out of the equation
5/5

Spice lovers, give it a try! After seeing numerous Youtube videos (buldak bokkeum myun or fire noodle challenge) of people trying this ramen, I simply HAD to try it. Even though I can handle a lot of heat, I was hesitant to try this because I assumed it was a sadistically hot inedible product vying for fame by exploiting people's suffering. With the cooked ramyun bowl in front of me, I took a few deep breaths, meditated for a few moments, and then bit into the first bite, which left me both disappointed and relieved: it wasn't nearly as spicy as I had expected, and it was quite tasty! The flavor of the sauce is similar to that of the popular Korean dish Ddukbokki, but it's a little more savory (chicken?). ) as well as spicier. The sweetness balances out the spice, and I finished the bowl without flinching, despite the fact that my nose was dripping wet for quite some time. If you like and can eat Buffalo Wild's "hot" wings, you should be able to finish this. I've also noticed that a lot of people cook this noodle incorrectly and complain about how bland it is. If you don't dilute the flavor by cooking it like other ramen noodles, the noodles will have plenty of flavor. I noticed that the product I received had no English instructions, so I decided to post the following translation: 1. br>br> Bring 3 cups (or more) of water to a boil, then add the noodles and cook for 5 minutes.
2. Drain the water (leaving about 8 spoons), stir in the packaged liquid hot sauce, and return to the stove to stir the noodles for about 30 seconds over low heat.
3. Turn off the heat and combine the noodles with the dry sesame/seaweed package. br>br>I've boiled for 4 minutes in step one. If you want firmer noodles, cook them for 5 minutes instead. br>The second step is crucial: You should be able to drain most of the water you see using your fork/chopsticks as a strainer while pouring off excess water from your cooking pot, leaving just enough water hidden in the noodles for a saucy, not liquidy, consistency. The flavor is incorporated and the sauce thickens by stirring over heat with the hot paste. If you have too much juice, turn up the heat and cook until the water has evaporated. The sauce should be thick enough to coat the noodles and allow the sesame seeds to adhere to the lifted noodles when properly prepared. br>br>I noticed that the expiration date on the product I received was less than 6 months away (8/30/2015). I'm sure I'll be able to finish the noodles before they expire, but it's possible that some of them will go bad. I'm not sure what the usual expiration for the ramyun is given the inclusion of the liquid paste, but the noodles didn't smell stale or rancid, which I can usually detect in almost stale ramyun noodles. Overall, this was well worth a try to satisfy my curiosity after laughing so hard at other people's reactions on YouTube, and I feel superior and stronger as a result! Oh, my stomach is beginning to burn. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Curiosity drove me to try the cup ramyun version of this (my supplies ran out too quickly!). ), and these cooking packets are far superior to the others. Cup noodles are much thinner and less chewy, and the savory, deeper flavor obtained by cooking the liquid paste with noodles is not as strong. The cup version's instructions state that you should drain all water before adding the flavor packets, implying that these are meant to be consumed with very little liquid. The thicker noodles in the cooking packs require assistance to infuse the flavor in step 2 above (which is why you should leave some water to cook off), and you get 140g instead of 70g (small cup) or 105g (big cup) instant noodles. Aside from the fact that the packs are much more affordable, you get a lot more of it and a much better taste if you prepare it properly. Now is the time to place a new order.
