It's a Chinese product, according to the packaging, and Lotus Foods of Richmond, CA distributes it. The International Certification Service and the USDA have both certified it as organic.
Should be, but it might be a pricey way to add noodles to soup.

They turned out fantastically, even better than the brand I was using previously. They aren't even close to being starchy. I SOAKED THEM FOR 30 MINUTES IN WARM WATER. After that, it was depleted. Because the water was clear, I didn't bother to rinse them. The noodles don't have to be cooked for Pad Thai. After I finished the dish, the noodles were firm and tender. I didn't want them to get mushy, so I didn't want to overcook them. This is a healthy Pad Thai recipe with zoodles and plenty of vegetables. I only used one package. There aren't any large globs of stuck together rice noodles here, so they won't be visible in the photo. These are a must-have for your collection. Despite the fact that I am half-Italian, I adore Asian cuisine. Yum. I would strongly suggest it.
With these noodles, it's incredibly simple to prepare delectable meals. I'm not a great cook, but my kids love it when I toss some vegetables and tofu (which isn't my favorite) into these noodles with a delicious sauce. A scrambled egg or two, added later, is fantastic. (Once again, I'm no good in the kitchen!).
I've only bought clear or white Thai rice noodles so far, and they've been a big hit in my house. Then I came across these, and I'm afraid I won't be able to return! Brown rice adds a sweet nuttiness and satisfying depth of flavor to this dish that is truly delicious. I like that the texture is a little thicker than other rice noodles, and the shape is similar to linguine. Cook times must be closely monitored, as with any rice product, because even a minute of overcooking will cause them to become pasty. However, even when overcooked, these magical noodles held up much better than their counterparts and were STILL delectable. They also lasted much longer as leftovers than other recipes I've tried in the past. I wish the packages were a little bigger, but this is an excellent product that I will purchase on a regular basis!.
But - Apart from that, I think these are the best rice noodles I've ever had! I have Celiac disease and use these in place of pasta, as well as in Pho and other soups. Gluten-free pasta is so unpleasant that I was overjoyed when I discovered these. Try them!.
After attempting to cook three of the remaining five packages, we decided to discard them. We started by pouring hot water over the noodles, which is a traditional method. This resulted in a gooey mess, as the noodles emitted a slimy mess of starch, turning the water completely white, and the noodles clumped together after ten minutes. We attempted to separate the strands but were unsuccessful. We had slimy rods of two to five noodles that were hard in the middle after thorough rinsing. Then we attempted to boil a package according to the directions. We ended up with a clump of ferociously stuck together noodle clumps that are slimy on the outside and hard on the inside, making them inedible and useless. br>br>I'm guessing a processing step or two was skipped in the creation of this product, as the end result isn't a true noodle. Instead, it's more akin to a prop from a movie.
I'm chemically sensitive, so I was hoping that an organic rice with so many accolades would be edible. I was let down by it. These things are excruciatingly painful to my joints. I'm guessing it has to do with the way they're handled. Unlike traditional rice noodles, which require some soaking time, these noodles do not require any. These are almost instant, but they quickly become goopy and have a poor texture. br>br>There is almost no flavor. Mushy is how I'd describe it. It's squishy and goopy. It didn't have a particularly pleasing flavor or texture. 0 stars br>br> I would not buy this product again. I had to throw away several packages because it ruins the other ingredients you mix it with.
This is something we really enjoy. Because one pack feeds a family of four, buying in bulk and keeping these on hand is a good idea.
This meets my high standards and, unlike other organic brown rice noodles, has a wonderful and delicate texture! The only ingredient is organic brown rice, which is ideal for me because my family suffers from a variety of allergies. The fact that rice is the sole ingredient is fantastic! This is the best organic brown rice noodle on the market in terms of texture!.
