Rustichella d'Abruzzo Pappardelle Egg Pasta - 8.8 Ounce

This item is not available in my area, so I've ordered it several times. Buying pasta online is always a gamble; the product is of excellent quality, but the shipping packaging is inadequate. Two packages were tightly wrapped in air bags and placed inside the box. They grew so large that they crushed the pasta and blew the box out. Perhaps they can use cardboard and foam to keep the packages in place instead of plastic.

This is the best pasta I've ever had. It responds well to a variety of sauces. It's particularly good in stroganoff or with chicken. My all-time favorite, and it arrived in excellent condition because it was well-packaged. I was overjoyed to discover that Amazon carries my favorite brand.

My favorite pasta maker is Rustichella. I'm a huge fan of their bucatini. I can now brag about a second type. It has a delicious flavor. It's good for soups and soup bases, as I'll call them. You won't be able to stop eating it because it's so good. It didn't last more than two meals because of this. I'm glad Amazon carries it because the nearest store that carries it is over 5 hours away. It's more convenient to place an order here.

Is there a boxed version that is better? We don't believe so. For special pasta events, we will gladly pay to have these in our pantry. Because this brand is hard to come by in our area, I'm grateful that Amazon has them for a reasonable price. These Pappardelle are rich, cooked to perfection, and stand up to sauces well. I shared our recipe with some friends for a group dinner, and they all raved about the dish, particularly the pasta. We'll be back to buy more.

It's always been my favorite treat, but 25 dollars is a lot of money these days. I can no longer afford more of life's pleasures; I used to be 20 and it was also difficult but worthwhile.
