It was a fantastic read. Pappardelle pasta is something I've wanted to try since I first tasted it in a restaurant. I got there in the end. 2 lb packages were included in the order. They were both purchased by me. Pasta is one of my favorite foods. This went great with my meat sauce, and I also tried it with just a little butter and enjoyed it. It's like an egg noodle that's bigger and thicker, but better. This is something I'll buy again in a heartbeat.
Because I live in a small town with no access to large supermarkets, I've come to the conclusion that my desire for "real Italian pasta" is not: "Italian style" is a phrase that refers to the way something is done in Italy. required satisfaction I grew up eating "pasta made in Italy" rather than what was available on the shelves in my small grocery store, so I decided to use my "Amazon Prime" membership to order some online - Less than two days later, it was on my porch. Now I can't wait to start cooking with all of my pasta finds, and I won't have to bother friends with driving me 50 or 60 miles to the nearest larger grocery store (I can't drive out of town due to health issues). I enjoy cooking and only use the finest ingredients.
no eggs. These are ideal for soups and main dishes because they are thick. They appealed to me because they are made entirely of semolina. We eat a lot of noodles because we're vegetarians. In terms of flavor, I couldn't tell the difference between these and our regular "no yolks" noodles. They do, however, make a nice presentation for company. I cooked them for 8 minutes in my 6 quart instant pot with a quick steam release. Because I am at a height of 7,300 feet in the mountains, your time may differ. I don't think I'll buy these again because they're quite expensive in comparison to regular pasta.
The pasta was delicious and fresh, but the bags were half-filled with broken pasta shards. When you're expecting long, thick strands of pasta, this isn't acceptable, and it's certainly not good value for money.
My husband, who used to make these, thought I was wasting money when I ordered this for the second time. UNTIL it was time for him to eat it. Was he ever taken aback by anything? Me too. He advised me to place more orders! That's Amore, he said.
I liked how different this pasta was from anything I could find in a regular supermarket. It looks like something you'd find in an Italian grocery store. My pasta was served with a bolognese sauce, and the pappardelle held up well. The finished product reminds me of the type of pasta that would be served in a restaurant.
Not a single strand or ribbon of pappardelle was broken. THANK YOU SO MUCH!.
This one is unquestionably superior. This noodle is thick, tasty, and tastes a lot like fresh pasta. Cooks in 8 minutes and holds up well to your favorite sauce. I would strongly suggest it.
