These were delicious tonight with a crawfish, shrimp, and mushroom cream sauce seasoned with white pepper, cayenne pepper, and Hungarian paprika. It was absolutely wonderful. br>br>The cream was made up of about two-thirds heavy cream and one-third Lactaid milk. The noodles soaked it up like a sponge, turning into a thick, delicious sauce. Despite the fact that they were suckers, they did not feel soggy. Stabbing a noodle, then a tail or shrimp, is so simple. Despite slathering on a generous amount of sauce, there was barely enough to cover the crusty garlic bread. br>br>It's a keeper when you find a noodle that can absorb a thick sauce without becoming mushy or soggy. These are flavorful and filling, and they go well with meaty stews and rich sauces, as well as simple oil/butter and herb dressings. The packaging into four nests makes it easier for me to divide them up for smaller meals, so it was well worth the extra cost. I adore them and will keep them on hand in my pantry.
When they arrived, the nests were nearly completely shattered, as others have stated. They appeared to be well packaged, but I'm guessing they had items thrown on top of the package during shipping. Aside from that, it was a pasta that I thoroughly enjoyed. If I knew I'd be able to get it in its entirety, I'd buy it again.
It had a light texture to it. Despite being filling, it's not too heavy. I've already purchased it and plan to do so again. It made me very happy.
A flavor that is perfectly matched. The texture is ideal for clinging sauce. It reminds me of Sunday dinners as a kid, when the pasta was always made from scratch. I've bought this brand several times and given it to my daughter as a gift because I won't be able to visit Italy this year. It appealed to her as well. I strongly advise you to do so.
Some dishes, such as beef stroganoff and Bolognese ragu, simply require egg noodles, and I must say that these noodles are exceptional. Excellent texture and flavor; far superior to anything I can find locally. Because the shipping is quick, there's a lot of bubble wrap around each package, and the pasta is in nests, I've always had a few broken pieces but the vast majority of the pasta has remained intact despite the jostling. Although it isn't the cheapest, it is unquestionably my preferred method. to the pasta of your choice.
This pasta was delicious. Because it comes from Europe, it is free of the toxins found in American wheat.
This pasta is one of my favorites, but I can't find it in our small town. This arrived in small pieces, and I'm not sure I'll be able to cook it.
