Pickles like these can be kept on the shelf because they're prepared to be canned. Should, however, not be left on the shelf for more than one year. Can be stored at room temperature as well.

We have found the best bread & butter in the country There is no better butter mix than this! There should be a note here that this is not a canning mix, but a refrigerator mix. The fact is, it is not very visible on the website! I just lost 6 jars of pickles because I forgot about it! There will be no more incidents like this!.
Especially liked the small size of the jars for portioning out.

If you like bread and butter pickles, this mix is one of the best you will ever try. This is the recipe you should use in place of all your old ones.
This was recommended to me by a friend who was just getting started with canning. It is not yet in my possession.
