True to its name, it tastes just like the dill pickle juice I love from the jar. Apparently other brands are complaining of a chemical taste or a sweet pickle flavor, but with this brand, no such issue exists. It tastes just like It is a pleasure to eat olive dill pickles. Compared to the Mountain, the taste is a little weaker. Pickle jar juice, pressed from olives. It's only a slight difference. It seems a bit pricey to me, as I found other reviews on Amazon where people said they could get it for less than half as much at a large chain store nearby. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any pickle juice products in stores near me that are packaged in 1 gallon containers. My search for a long time has been fruitless, believe me. The most important part of my entire life was buying giant jars of pickles and trying to eat all of them, before drinking all of the juice. Buying this 4 - ounce bottle makes me feel better. I am confident that this 1 gallon pack will not only satisfy my craving for tasty dill pickle juice it will also lend itself beautifully to pickling a dozen or so eggs in one of those huge pickle jars I have kept for just such an occasion. This is a great pickle juice alternative if you like pickle juice, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. If you don't mind the price, you can buy it with confidence.
