Although the texture is similar, I prefer the texture of Maille or Trader Joe's cornichons. These had a strong pine resin flavor that I didn't care for.

The flavor was not to my liking- Maille isn't even close to being the worst. It is, however, easily repaired and much less expensive than Maille. The gherkins are delicious on their own. THERE WAS NO TARRAGON IN THE ROOM. br>br>From the produce counter's herb section, I added four packets of fresh Tarragon. They were 5 star for flavor and 5 star for value after a week. Despite the additional cost of the tarragon. Mailee, on the other hand, is only good if I add one packet of tarragon to each jar. br>br>Since when have Cornichons been devoid of tarragon?.
If you prefer tarragon, simply add two teaspoons or a tablespoon of dried tarragon to the jar and leave it to rest for a day or two. It goes well with tuna salad and roasted meats. br>Because this is a large jar, I don't have to keep buying those tiny grocery store jars. The package arrived in excellent condition, and the shipping was quick.
These cornichons are tasty right out of the jar, but adding some dried tarragon boosts the flavor even more. br>So far, I've used them finely diced in tuna salad (much better than jarred pickle relish) and with a small plate of salami and asiago, which is a perfect match for their flavor and texture. As a long-time pickle fan, I'll keep these on hand and look forward to using them more. Deal of the Century!.
Cornichons are tasty, but the flavor of pine resin is a little off-putting. I like how small the pickles are, and how big the jar is, but I'll stick to buying these from Trader Joe's in the future.
They are fantastic! The corner of the box, however, was wet and smashed in this time! As a result, the lid was dented, leaking pickling juice everywhere! It was almost certainly the fault of the Amazon driver, who isn't nearly as good or conscientious as he once was!.
Cornichons are always so pricey, but this one was a great deal. We immediately placed them in a "hot-box" environment. My goodness, the flavor is spot on in this "dog" wrap.
It's not that bad. However, it is not excellent! In comparison to other brands I've enjoyed, the flavor is a little lacking and very sour. I was optimistic that such a large jar at such a low price would be worthwhile. But, unless I can improve the flavor, I'm not sure I'll do it again.
This is a fantastic deal. They're quite impressive; I bought them to eat with raclette and they were nice and crunchy, but not as delicious as Maille's.
