These cornichons taste exactly like any other cornichon I've ever had, so let's get right to the point: the fantastic packaging The pickles are brought to the top of the jar by pulling on the strainer at the bottom. I didn't realize I needed this until I got it, but now that I do, I can't imagine life without it. Never again will I have to put my hand in the jar. Other pickle jars now have to live up to this standard.
Nice crunch, good quality, but I despise sweet pickles, so this is a negative for me. Please vote for me because of my flavor profile: if you like a little sweetness in your pickles, similar to what you'd find in a sweet relish, this pickle will meet your needs. I prefer a sour/spicy one, and this doesn't fit the bill.
It didn't have a pickled flavor to it at all. It looks more like a chemistry student mishap. br>This is not a natural product in the least. br>Acid, calcium chloride, and "natural" flavors will be present in your diet. It comes with a plastic insert that dissolves in the acid, further contaminating your body. If this doesn't make you vomit, you've probably never had real food. br>Have a good time with it.
These have nothing to do with France. Cornichons, on the other hand, are never sweet and have no flavor.
The flavor isn't like that of cornichons. br>There's something seriously wrong with this chemical taste from India. The "natural flavors" don't help matters. br>I liked the first one I bought when this product was first introduced at Whole Foods, but I am extremely disappointed with what is currently being sold.
I'm an adult who can remove cornichons on my own, and the darned thing is impossible to remove and thus recycle!.
Gross! They have a gherkin-like sweetness to them. br>br>Amazon has yet to respond to my request for a refund. I'm irritated by how they altered the Amazon Fresh process.
These Whole Foods ones, on the other hand, are a great deal and of excellent quality. They're crunchy and very tart, like Roland brand cornichons, and they're perfect. I now purchase them in quantities of four. At a time, 5 jars!.
