When I was putting together a charcuterie board, I bought these on the spur of the moment, and they were fantastic! The heat and acidity levels were just right for cutting through the fat in cheeses and meats.

I'm pretty sure it's past its prime. Maille cornichons are very crunchy and tangy, and cloudy cornichons have a strange taste. That is not the case here. I was extremely disappointed.
