According to the label, this is a French product. (Spices mustard), gherkins, water, vinegar, onions, salt

Is the basket that you use to lift the pickles out of the brine included with this item? I see it on the four-pack, but it's not shown in this picture. ?

The one I got didn't come with a basket.

I've had some of the best cornichons I've ever had

At the Melting Pot, my wife and I tried cornichons for the first time and fell in love with them. We'd never tasted anything quite like it: tart, salty, and delicious. In an attempt to recreate the involuntary facial wince of flavor, I tried several different brands, but none of them were quite as effective. These are the ones. These are without a doubt the strongest and best cornichons I've ever tasted. That's a word of caution for the fearful, but it's also my strongest recommendation.

The bottle was not wrapped in bubble wrap, and the top was missing, allowing the contents to spill out! In addition, there is no return policy. Be wary of the buyer!.

The white wine vinegar gives it a nice bite that isn't overpowering. The cornichon has a nice texture to it as well.

I was disappointed that I had to pay so much for the pickles

I was disappointed that I had to pay for shipping because the pickles are excellent. I thought I had free shipping, but I didn't, so they cost $10 in total. 00 isn't worth it at all.
