There is nothing wrong with the product. I have had experience with "jarred" products coming from Amazon and I know that as soon as a jarred product arrives you must inspect it right away. Why I'm doing this, I don't know, There have been too many instances of leakage from Amazon packages for me to count. No exception was made in this case. There was significant denting on the lid and it was not screwed onto the jar. A liquid level in the jar had been lowered due to the wet jar, the inside of the protective pouch, and the inside of the protective lid. There were no cracks in the box the item arrived in. It doesn't make sense, does it?.

These olives were bought after a friend recommended they be used in Mediterranean cooking. It seems that the olives I bought at the grocery store have more flavor than these olives. Furthermore, they are really good when it comes to cooking and eating from their bottles.
