Because the materials with the cap and valve are inseparable, both the pouch and cap on our Jif® Simply Squeeze are made of a non-recyclable plastic. We hope this information is useful.
Selected User Reviews For Jif Squeeze Creamy Peanut Butter, Smooth, Creamy Texture, Portable Peanut Butter Pouch, 13 Ounces, (Pack of 4)
Only one was in the box, despite the fact that the description stated that it came in a four-pack. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I believe that other potential purchasers should be aware. The quality of the product was adequate, but the price was exorbitant.
I'm only concerned about the recycling aspect, and it's a little more expensive than standard containers. However, due to the peanut oil coating, the plastic containers cannot be recycled. But, hey, yay for deconstructed squeezable PB! It's now J's!.
The order was to include a pack of four, as stated in the product description. The box, however, contained only ONE tube. Given that several other people have experienced the same problem, based on the reviews, I'm guessing this oversight is a deliberate attempt to defraud people. It's only $13, and it's just peanut butter, as far as I can tell. These business practices, on the other hand, are heinous.
I figured they'd be useful to bring to games and school lunches. When I first got the box, I noticed a grease/oily spot on one of the corners. When I first opened the box, I discovered several songs that were either oily or had peanut butter on them. I noticed that one of the packets had a rip in the plastic where peanut butter was leaking out after wiping the peanut butter off. Because the other ten packages were fine, I only gave it three stars. I'm not returning it because it'd be too much of a hassle for just one squeeze tube, but I'm not likely to order it again. It's simple to use, though the cap can get in the way when it's open, which isn't a major issue. The flavor is identical to what you'd get from a jar.
When I first saw it, I thought it was fantastic. At least one PB&J sandwich is consumed by my child every day. J per day, on average. I was under the impression that this would squeeze out in such a way that I wouldn't have to use a knife or spoon to spread it, but I was mistaken. Instead of the wide flat ribbon I was expecting, it comes out looking almost like toothpaste. You're also screwed if you squeeze out too much because you can't return it like a jar. It hasn't changed in flavor at all. With one pouch, I can make roughly 6 sandwiches. I'm not going to buy these again; I'll stick to jars instead. In theory, it was a good idea, but it didn't work out.
The fact that it comes in a squeeze tube makes it less messy for me. I knew it would be good because it was a brand name. That was the case. br>What I didn't like was that there was no place to leave a comment for the supplier to click into. When I first opened the box, there was peanut butter inside. It's not a lot, but it's enough to make a customer (like me) nervous. I was concerned that something had been broken right away. When I looked closer, I noticed that the seals were intact, but that one of the peanut butter tubes had peanut butter on it. Because everything these days is automated, I'm assuming something went wrong during the packaging process. It's still a puzzle to me, but I couldn't solve it. Apart from that, for four tubes of peanut butter, this was a good deal!.
This entire product, from the peanut butter to the bag, is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen, used, or tasted in my life; to squeeze the peanut butter out, you must use both hands and both feet. The bag crumples and collapses as it is carried. It appears to come out of the tube in the same way that toothpaste does. Instead, it must pass through an extruder, which resembles a cervix effacing before the baby emerges, if I may use such a gross metaphor. I believe it is a complete rip-off, and I would gladly accept a refund for the box of four tubes.
For years, I'd been giving my two puppy dogs Jif Peanut Butter to administer medication (tablets). br>The squeeze bottle is convenient, simple to use, and much more efficient. br>Medication treats are a big hit with my dogs!.
