Some time ago I found what appeared to be some sort of small plastic piece In a clear mason jar containing the contents of the bag, I discovered what appeared to be a corner of something when I dumped the contents into it. As I sifted through the turmeric, I picked out the plastic and tossed it. After consuming the Anthonys Tumeric, I did not see anything else on the surface and continued to consume it. However, I just the other day received another bag of Anthonys Tumeric and just seconds ago noticed It was nearly identical to the one that I had found in the powder a while back in size and appearance. Despite cutting through the turmeric very meticulously with a flash light and knife this time, I still found more pieces of plastic after dumped all the turmeric out on my counter. A very small amount of plastic, almost like microplastic. There were a series of small pieces or corners of plastic that resembled a small piece of the larger package the turmeric comes in, and it did not appear to be of the same material as the inside or outside of the actual package the turmeric comes in. Despite our best efforts, modern society is filled with plastic. You are at risk of being exposed to toxins in anything you buy in a store that has been industrially processed unless you drink raw milk straight from a cow's udder. You may or may not be organic. The fact that Anthonys is a conscience based company probably means they try to make a successful business by providing what they believe is a safe and good product, and they probably minimize the possibility of such things Nevertheless, something seems to be wrong to me. I found pieces of plastic that were all the same and appeared to have been scattered from different bags of turmeric. A clear red flag that something critical is being overlook or mismanaged along the way is if you're seeing that trend. What is malfunctioning in Anthony's packaging process, or is it the Indian packaging system. This may never be known to the World. As much as I can tell, it is time that I move The roots of turmeric might be organic whole ones. The King of Kings is Jesus Christ.
