The price of the small jar of dried thyme at the grocery store seems excessive to me since I use it so often. It had been quite some time since our local grocer carried bulk dried thyme, so I decided to order this instead. I like the flavor of this product, and you don't have to use too much before it starts to lose it.
This is a huge quantity at a low price. It's a whole leaf product, so you may want to grind it.
In what ways are you expecting to be surprised? The dried thyme is okay quality and is available in bulk at a reasonable price. The flavor and smell are not as strong as they should be, but just add a little more and you'll be.
