Herbs from Puglia, to be precise
4/5

Herbs de Provence, like curry, is a combination of spices that originated in and around the Provence region of France. (The name comes from this. ) Get it? ) Although the blend is loosely interpreted (as is everything in this world), the following ten herbs are commonly found in it: summer savory, tarragon, thyme, lavender flower, basil, bay leaf, chervil, fennel, marjoram, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, rosemary, Only this Spiceology blend contains all ten of these basic ingredients, out of all the herbs de Provence displayed in search. Some have as few as four people in them. Some people go out of their way to avoid using lavender. HdP isn't hdP if it doesn't have lavender. br>Spiceology wins on the basis of the recipe, but they add oregano to the mix. In my 53- Years of experience have taught me that adding oregano to herbs de Provence transforms them into Italian seasoning that resembles herbs de Puglia. That's what I keep next to my HDP on my shelf. I give four dots for that; with the REQUEST, they must remove the oregano and be careful with the lavender. Lavender that has been dried looks similar to violets that have been dried. Instead of lemon peel, I'm using dried orange peel! It would be advantageous if you could ( This is done in a jar that I keep next to my hdP and Italian seasoning. br>br>None of the preceding is a deal-breaker. Only the chef's recommendation is a deal breaker. This Spiceology blend is a genuine choice if you're looking for herbs de Provence.

Spiceology is the study of spices
5/5

The first time I saw this Netflix was at a BBQ competition show. Someone used this exact spice for the pork spareribs, and the judges said they were the best tasting ribs they'd ever had. They asked what the spice was, and she showed them your Herbs de Provence Blend, which stunned and amazed them.

The best value for money in a provincial mix! This is an excellent combination! This is still a little too much
5/5

Although the blend is complete, it is reasonably priced. There are a lot of great spices in here, as well as all the traditional spices. They have all of the essentials, and then they add a few extras that most suppliers are hit or miss on. Excellent in a variety of recipes (especially chili).

This is the first time I've used this brand of herbs de provence, and it has a strong fennel seed flavor
3/5

It doesn't sit well with me. The mixture contains a significant amount of fennel seeds. I've never had fennel seeds in a brand of herbs de provence before, and they don't taste very good. We simply discarded it. Unless you like the overpowering flavor of fennel seed, buy a better brand like Straight From France if you like herbs de provence.

Spice is nice, but a good Herb de Provence with lavender is difficult to come by
5/5

My purchase was a great success! Thank you very much.

The ingredients aren't exactly what they say they are
3/5

On the website, the ingredients are listed as "Lavender Flower, Rosemary Leaves, Savory Leaves, Mediterranean Oregano, Tarragon Leaves, Bay Leaf, Marjoram Leaves," but the ingredients are listed as "Spices and lavender" on the actual bottle. "This makes me question the authenticity of the blend. " No rosemary, but plenty of fennel seeds, according to my observations. I won't be buying anything else.

Some of the seeds in this mix are large
3/5

Because these large hard seeds do not soften in that amount of time, I like to use this type of mix to season vegetables and fish in the microwave. It is also fine for stews and soups that are cooked for long periods of time. I would purchase the McCormick brand, which I have previously purchased.
