Questions & Answers
Indefinitely unopened in a pantry; opened I can't say because I've never had a problem with spoilage. We're in a commercial kitchen, so that could be the case.
The bottle does not have an expiration date. I'm not sure why vinegar has a use-by date.

Tarragon Vinegar is used in a number of my recipes. I was unsure about ordering this quantity at first, but I'm glad I did. I've used Heinz's small bottle, which is also available - It's difficult to come by, and it's expensive, but the flavor is fantastic. This is a value item with a long shelf life if you plan on using it in a marinade, homemade barbecue sauce, salad dressing, cole slaw, or creole mustard. I received Amazon Prime two days. The box was heavy, but I followed the instructions and left it on my front porch. The four jugs were all in excellent condition. Simply by itself, it makes a delicious low-calorie salad dressing. I poured some into a smaller, lidded glass jug. Tarragon has a tangy, herbal flavor to it. This is a great addition to your pantry that can be used in a variety of ways.
I love tarragon vinegar because it adds such a subtle yet distinct flavor to so many foods. . . pickles, potato salads, and dressings, to name a few. Heinz is the best and most consistent brand I've ever used.
My granddaughter enjoys the salad dressing I make with this tarragon vinegar, which is difficult to come by in my area.
Price is too high, and I can't find the product anywhere in town.
Outstanding craftsmanship!.
It brings a lot of umame to the table!.
br>Keep a few smaller empty bottles on hand to give to your friends.
This is an excellent product; I used it to make all of my pickles this summer, and my family raved about them.
