Dried. It has a lovely, bright green color and a delicious flavor.
Although it is fresh, it is not organic. So I bought it without checking the label and made a mistake. I still have it in my bag and have only used it a few times. FORGET IT if Tarragon isn't ORGANIC!

Tarragon that has been sifted and is of good quality. The flavor is fantastic. We use a lot of tarragon to season a spatchcocked chicken underneath the skin, as well as in a creamy lemon-tarragon sauce. garlic- caper sauce is a versatile condiment that goes well with just about anything. We keep the bag tightly sealed and in the freezer to ensure that a one-pound bag lasts us a long time while remaining fresh.
Apart from saffron, tarragon is one of the most expensive spices you can use in cooking, but it's a must if you want to do any French cuisine. I like to use it to infuse with bechamel sauces, and I'm especially fond of making tarragon mustards, which can transform boring boneless skinless chicken breasts into something fancy, or when used as a marinade on skinned chicken that's seared and baked, into something people br>br>The Frontier brand tarragon is good, but the flavors aren't as strong as I'd like. The best tarragon is fresh tarragon, but it's far too expensive to use at home on a regular basis. I'm guessing this is of the Russian variety because of the lower price and milder flavor. If you order this, be aware that it will require a lot of storage space. I was able to fit all of this into two 0's. Vacuum-sealed 5 gallon Ball canning jars If you don't keep this spice in an airtight container, it will go bad before you've used it all. To keep bulk spices fresh for a long time, they need to be kept away from moisture and heat, with little to no light, low to no oxygen, and airtight. br>br>This is the only Frontier brand spice I've ordered that hasn't completely blown me away. It tastes just as good, if not slightly better, than store-bought dried tarragon, but at a fraction of the price.
It's a good idea to keep a supply of this herb on hand in the kitchen. We like it on fish, in casseroles, blended into sauces, and infused into stock or water for grains to cook in. The aroma is intoxicating, and the flavor is intense. I can pull out only what I need to keep the pantry stocked because cello packs store well in the freezer.
When I first opened the bag, the herb was still very fresh. Since then, it has kept its flavor and pleasant aroma.
It adds a touch of elegance as well as a surprise element. This Tarragon variety is very fragrant, rich, and finely sifted. Because of its depth on many fronts, I believe it is of French origin, unlike others. This is a product that I would purchase again without hesitation.
Tarragon is a favorite of mine in many of the dishes I prepare, especially my morning omelettes. For both quality and quantity, this is one of the best Amazon products I've ever purchased! There don't appear to be any fillers, which are common in bulk spices. While it can't quite compete with fresh (which I grow during the season), it comes close.
I use it all the time, but the little bottles at the grocery store are ridiculously expensive. They may or may not have it on hand at any given time. This is something I purchased. Fill canning jars halfway with the mixture. Huge cost savings It's something I keep in my bag at all times.
Tarragon of excellent quality, packaged properly, and delivered quickly. What a great addition to soups, casseroles, pasta, and other dishes; great price; I'd buy it again or look for other Frontier products.
