Due to the fact that I rarely use sesame seeds and this is an 8-ounce container, I never use them. The use by date indicated by the container is only 3 months from the date of receipt, which is disappointing to me. The fact that the product could not be returned was not apparent to me, and I did not check.
I often use roasted sesame seeds instead of raw, because I live in a region where they are not available to roast. This is what they This is what my wife says They are sworn to by thee.
There is only one brand that doesn't disappoint it is a slightly more expensive brand but it also has a rich, savory, roasted sesame seed taste. The others are the same but just add texture and appearance.
I haven't had a chance to use this product enough to make an informed judgment but I think it's worth the expenditure considering prices in supermarkets. This product is packaged in a sealed container that will keep it fresh for a long time and it is waiting in my refrigerator for me.
Any Asian dish or salad will benefit from the rich, nutty flavor that the fresh roasted sesame seeds bring.
This seems to be a really fresh and good quality product. So I can save a step during the cooking process since the meat is already roasted. The item is good value for the price. There has been a significant increase in grocery store prices per ounce.
These were purchased by me a few months ago, and are due to expire in It won't be long now until sesame seeds are harvested! As well, these products are from China, so I wouldn't consider them as Japanese.
